So many comments on the color!

I really liked this dress. I was planning to order a 12l and 14l as my back up. The 12 wasn’t available so I did 14l and 16l. The 14 fit just fine - I probably could have squeezed into the 12 but glad I didn’t have the option. I’m 5’6 and was planning to wear 4 in heels so I went with the long. It was probably like 1/2-1in too long. I wasn’t tripping over it but would have preferred it to be slightly shorter. Better too long than too short tho! It was hard to lift up tho - when I walked I wanted to lift the front so I didn’t trip but the material and the layers made it oddly difficult. It’s hard to explain. It’s not impossible but you have to put some effort in to pick it up in the right place and hold it appropriately.

Super Comfortable

I got this dress for a bachlorette party in early August. We were down the shore and this was an excellent dress for a night out in the middle of the summer. I found the back to be quite complicated. It's definately not something you can put on by yourself. It was nice that you had options on how to tie it but in order for the top to stay up (and keep the girls in check) I found you really had to do some sort of criss-cross/halter style. Also, it needs to be tied pretty tight which unfortunately can create some back fat. It was a very delicate balance. The rest of the dress was flowy and fit well. It was pretty short on me but that was okay since I wore it for a bachlorette party. Some of the reviews advised on ordering a smaller size for your back up. So I order the small as my back up which was in no way going to fit me. The medium was a close call. I generally wear medium when I order dresses sized this way so I was surprised that the medium was just barely right.

I usually wear a size 8 jeans and med to lg tops. I ordered med and lg in this dress and ended up wearing the med. There didn't seem to be much difference in the two except the length. My boyfriend actually said the lg looked like it fit better than the med (meaning it was tighter). The med was plenty roomy but it wasn't like a trashbag. The chest area could definately accomodate someone with a larger chest. I am a 34C and it was slighty big although you couldn't tell by looking at me. The lengthy was mid-thigh, not too short at all. I 100% agree with those that said in pictures you definately need to strike a pose. Show off the dress, if you just stand normal, it's not going to look like the most flattering dress although in person, tons of people complimented me about the dress.
