This dress is definitely very sexy and sparkly! The fabric is beautiful, more gold and black in person, than the picture on the model shows. I have never seen anything like it. The 10 fit me great, but the length was shorter than pictured. You could see my whole shoe. (I'm 5'10") Even with a little kitten heel, it looked weird. The length really needs to be like in the picture, so if you are tall, order the long.

I liked this dress a lot but I needed a smaller size if I was going to wear it. The "belt" feature that appears in the photos wasn't actually on the dress and I didn't have anything I could have used to cinch it. It definitely needs a belt or something at the waist.

I wore this dress to a reception, an awards banquet, and the afterparty, for a total of 7 hours! It was comfortable for all the standing, sitting, eating, and walking I did during the entire event. I didn't even need to wear Spanx! The twisting at the top helps a lot if you are relatively flat (I am.) The pleats throughout the skirt are beautiful, and there is just the right amount of fabric there that makes it look elegant and not too flowy. I'm 5'10" and I wore a 3" heel, and the regular length was perfect. The fabric of the dress is really fantastic, and I felt like a princess in it.
