This dress is made of thick, itchy cotton fabric. I was hoping it would be a little flowy and have some movement. Nope, it was stiff as a board and stood out strangely. Did not wear it.

I want so badly to love this dress but the fit is not working for me. I read the reviews about sizing up so I went up a size: didn't fit. Tried again, went up TWO sizes and now the bottom fits but the top is boxy.

I wanted to love this dress but due to my short upper torso the v was far too deep to wear without a cami. I wouldn't be able to wear this without tailoring because while the waist fit perfectly, the bodice/too was far too long. Unfortunately I couldn't wear this piece but if I owned it and could get it properly tailored AND had the right shade red cami (white cami = no) it might work. Too many issues to make it work for me, but on a taller person might work.

I have a short upper torso so the shoulders and sleeves were a bit boxy. So not quite as cute as I thought it would be but ok, fine choice to mix up the work wardrobe. I might rent it again because the color is so bright and pretty.

Great work dress, receivers lots of compliments. What you can't tell from the photo is that the dress isn't just black. It has dark blue and gold threads weaving almost a plaid, and the dress is shiny. Very pretry
