Too much fabric for small frames.
It is a pretty skirt, but I felt lost in it. The fabric also felt a little heavy. I wouldn't have wanted to wear it on a hot day. At 5'3.75, I am borderline petite, meaning regularly sized clothing is a little long, but petite is a little short.

Statement top pairs well with denim!
I really loved this top! I wore it for a casual date night with a high waisted denim skirt. It is a very short crop, so I wouldn't have felt comfortable wearing it with something high up to offset the shortness. In terms of sizing, I think there is a lot of confusion because it might be European or AU sizing. I have never been a size 8 in US sizes, but have been an 8 in European sizing. I typically wear XS or S or 0-4 in dresses and tops.
