Great winter formal dress
The color made the dress feel more conservative than it was, which is good because I wore it to a school gala. .

Forgiving and flattering
The fringe hides everything! I even ate a whole slice of wedding cake, and I wouldn’t typically dare to indulge. The dress is short with a good balance of structure and stretch. The fringe was perfectly appropriate for black tie even though the dress is short underneath. Hottest dress ever!

Chic and feminine
Wear hot undies because you could flash if you’re not careful! I’m 5’8, but I have short legs relative to my torso. The dress fit my athletic build perfectly, and I got compliments all night from friends and strangers alike.

Not quite right, but it worked
Usually, I nail these rentals, but this one was not my fav. I wore the medium instead of the small only because of the slit- it was closer to the midline than I realized, so I sized up for the extra fabric there. The medium bunched in the lower back because my 34B wasn’t enough to stretch the fabric, so it bunched. Pretty color, and I still got loads of compliments.

Safe and sassy
I didn’t want to be too flashy at this rehearsal dinner. This dress was perfectly appropriate, slimming and a great fabric for heat. I wore it with 4” heels- hot pink sandals and pink jewelry for a little color.

Great look for formal summer wedding
It was the hottest outdoor formal wedding of all time. The fabric is light, but the bodice has structure. Expect to steam the dress because it will wrinkle in transport. I am not a a very sweaty person, but if you are, this fabric would reveal sweat. I would have sized down to the 4 instead of the 6, and not worn a bra, if I had to do it again. The first order came without a sash. Thankfully, RTR sent another dress in enough time. The customer service is so nice btw!

Very warm
The dress itself is gorgeous! I wore the 12, but I probably should have ordered a 10 as a back up size instead of a 14. I am long and straight, and the bust was a little big with my padded strapless bra. Also, please note: it was 48* outside. I felt really hot in this dress, and it seemed to stretch as the evening wore on, even though I didn’t sweat. By the time I got home, I felt like I was wearing a heavy big gown. I would order again in a smaller size.

Danced all night
This dress was very comfortable, and it stood out in a sea of black dresses at a gala. I could have squeezed into the 6 if I had to, but I was glad I got the size up. I think it would be a tough dress to fit into if you felt you were curvy. I have a little junk in the trunk, but there would have been no room in the bust or hips for lovelier lady lumps.
