Which unfortunately was the problem! From the picture, I expected a tote bag that I could use for my work bag, but it is way too small for that. So, check the size! Other than that it was quite cute. It had an internal pull-string pouch that would help keep things inside the bag, which I thought was a nice touch.

I really wanted to love this dress. The print looked adorable, the cut looked promising and it seemed like the perfect way to add a subtle amount of quirk to an important work event. I was ready to buy it based on online photos. However, the dress was just meh. I didn't like the scrunchy material on the back or how it wrapped around to the front on the shoulders and the arms were a bit loose on me. I did like how the scrunchy material allowed the buttons not to be pulled too much in the front, which is a common issue being a larger busted lady. The dress wasn't unflattering, it just wasn't flattering either.

The color is darker and more earthy than what's reflected in the picture. I was expecting a bright mustard, but instead its a more subdued, dark mustard color. It's still a beautiful color, especially as a fall handbag, but the color is definitely not what I was expecting. It's also just a tiny bit too small for my liking. I have a kate spade zip-up wallet/billfold, and while it fits in there with my sunglasses case, phone and earbud headphone case, there's nothing else that can really fit in there. So I'm deeming it just a touch too small to truly be an everyday bag.
