This was a replacement dress since the one I originally ordered wasn't returned on time by the previous renter. I am SOOOO glad I got this one instead! The lace on the top was comfortable, not itchy. The material felt and looked expensive. This dress fit so well and felt amazing in it - I didn't even have to wear shapewear or a bra. I consider my body type on the athletic side - wider back and curvy hips/butt. This dress was perfect for that! It hid my tummy well and I was able to dance the whole night comfortably. I usually wear a size 10 in formal wear and this fit like a glove - they didn't have a size 12 available for me to compare to but I would think it may have been slightly roomier (but then I may have needed a bra). I have no complaints about the dress!

I'm short - under 5 foot and this was a nice length if you're a shorty looking for a long dress. With my heels, it didn't drag on the ground. This was my back up so I didn't actually wear it to the wedding but it was comfortable enough to dance in. The straps were a little annoying but I think once you get them adjusted and you don't touch them, you should be fine. There's a slip underneath, the slit was appropriate but I'm short soooo....also, I personally didn't need to wear a bra in it. The belt is a little weird - didn't really know how to tie it but that's just me.

I was excited to find a long formal dress in a petite size but was worried when the "size up" back up dress wasn't offered in petite. The dress fit perfectly and didn't drag with my 4 inch heels. Good thing I didn't need the non-petite back up because that would have been waaaaay too long (like over a foot). Other tips - the back is very low so consider pasties, the slit is very high so no shapewear with shorts, and its low in the front so take that into consideration if you're on the blessed side of bust size. I received so many compliments on this dress and would recommend to all the petites out there!

I am so glad RTR offers a back up dress - I had to use the larger size back up...and it barely zipped up! I would say definitely go up a size when picking your dress and probably do the back up size 2 sizes up. I don't have a large bust and I probably could've gone without a strapless with how tight the dress was up top. I received tons of compliments.
