I wasn't sure about this dress at first but by the end of the night, I was sold! If I owned it, I'd have it taken up, it's a liiiiittle long for me at 5'2", hitting me lower-calf rather than below the knee. But it's so sparkly! The colors are great, the sequins are so fun, and the lining makes it easy to wear. This dress works as both a serious fancy dress and also as a whimsical, fun dress for a less-formal occasion. I wore it for a "Mom Prom," and fit right in with ladies in giant 80s- and 90s-style prom dresses, then went out and felt super cool at the bar. I've never had so many people say, "I want that dress!" both at the party and friends commenting on photos I posted. The dress is pretty straight up and down, so if you're pear shaped you may want to size up, though I found it comfortable/generous for the size (12). The waist is not super nipped-in, so it's not restricting. Rent it, wear it, sparkle!

This dress is darling. The fit and flare style is super flattering. The purple colors are gorgeous and look lovely in-person. This dress was comfortable through dinner and dancing. The style lends itself to being dressed up with stockings and heels, or dressed down with a denim jacket and boots. I'm short, so the arms were a bit long; I cuffed them and felt fine. I would rent this dress again.

I wore this dress to a casual wedding in Ohio and forgot to take a photo. It was comfortable and looked cute. It's 100% cotton, so watch the wrinkles. Pockets are a nice addition, the full back is nice. Armholes are a little large, so if you're smaller on top it will gap a bit. Good length for shorter folks. Not my favorite ever, but a solid party dress.

I rented this dress to wear to the brunch party after a family wedding. I did not wear it, as the fit was terrible. The length is fine, the waist is fine and elasticized, so easy for several sizes, but the top is way too large. While small-chested, I've got a big rib cage -- 38" around -- so should not have been swimming in this as I was. There was no way to tie it so that it looked OK. The photo for the dress is misleading ... I would only have achieved that look by wearing a line of clothespins down my back. Too bad -- the fabric and pattern were nice.

Oh my, this dress is darling. The material is lovely and the visible zipper in the back is a great detail that keeps it from being too twee. The skirt has just the right volume and the wide neck is super flattering. I will rent this again, for sure. There is no give in the bodice, so size up for your backup. I went with the smaller of two sizes, which fit like a glove when I went out but felt a tiny bit snug after drinks and dinner.

I wore this to a nice dinner out with my husband. I felt great and the dress got lots of compliments - it's a lovely piece. I was a bit concerned about the chest but I managed without a bra or tape ... just good posture, though if I'd been doing more than sitting or standing I'd probably have used tape. Other reviewers are correct that raising your arms is basically impossible without flashing the world and having the whole dress ride up. Again, not bad for martinis and dinner, but would be restrictive for dancing.

This is a very pretty dress. The colors and pattern are lovely. But the top is HUGE. There's no way to wear it without pinning the top or wearing a camisole. It looks nice open with a camisole, though that makes it decidedly more casual. I didn't even think to take a full-length photo because it didn't feel special.

Talk about gorgeous! The color of this dress is a perfect deep green, the brocade looks rich and lovely, and the overall effect is stunning. I wore this to a friend's wedding and haven't felt so spectacular since my own wedding day. The skirt is the right amount of dramatic and fun for dancing and the bodice and waist are comfortable. I marked this as "runs large" because the top was a bit big even with a (very) padded bra, but if you are bigger on top, I imagine it would fit like a dream. I don't want to return this one!

This dress is very pretty. The color is a deep, flattering red. The bodice is great for those of us with smaller chests, and the high-low skirt works well for shorter women, and the arm holes aren't too big. My biggest issue was that the skirt puffed out above the lining and the lining showed in front. Some steaming/ironing helped, but I still noticed the lining below the hem of the skirt. I didn't end up wearing this dress because the other one I ordered was just perfect for the event, but I would consider it in the future.
