Tradwife Vibes

Great Formal Wedding Dress
Wore this for my sister-in-law's wedding and loved it! Very comfortable, the off the shoulder strap stays put and still allows movement for dancing/picking up my toddler, and the fabric is very flattering. Got lots of compliments!

So Sad
I was in LOVE with these pants -- the fabric is comfy and the color and pattern is amazing. But the sizing was BONKERS. I could *barely* get these over my thighs, but then the waist was absolutely enormous. I tried a bunch of different strategies (safety pins, hair ties, etc.) in a desperate attempt to be able to wear these, but alas...they would inevitably end up falling down to my hips, which was not very flattering and also made them way too long. I think these will only work if your hips and waist are basically the same size.

This blazer runs huge--I'm usually a 4/6 and got a 6, but easily could have sized down 1-2 sizes (and not just because this is supposed to be an oversized look). The material also wasn't very pleasant to the touch; very heavy and boxy in an unflattering way. I didn't end up wearing this.

Nice work staple
Silk button-down shirts like this one are such a great staple for work. The pattern and subtle poof in the sleeves (near the wrist) made it a little more exciting. It was almost opaque enough not to wear a tank underneath, but not quite--I probably would've gone without the tank if I were wearing it out instead of to work. This definitely did run large, as I'm usually a small but took this in an XS and it fit great tucked into high-waisted pants.

Just fine
This dress was fine, but nothing truly special. I think I might have preferred styling it without tights and with shorter booties as a date night look, but it's too cold for that right now. Given the weather, I wore it with black tights and knee high boots to work. It is a bit short and pulled a bit awkwardly when I was sitting (I also have bigger thighs than average for my overall size), but fit well everywhere else and looked nice standing. I found the floral pattern a bit dull in person; some more color would have been nice.

Classy and pretty
I rented three different pairs of earrings for my wedding (just in case!) and although I didn't end up wearing these, my MOH did and she loved them! They added the perfect amount of sparkle to complement her navy blue gown without looking like too much. Would definitely recommend them and given that they're not TOO big, I think they could work for a variety of events.

Pretty, but didn't wear
I rented three different earrings from RTR to wear for my wedding. Initially, I was pretty sure I would end up loving and choosing to wear these, but when they arrived, a few of the clear stones were missing and the overall look wasn't as elegant as I had hoped (I ended up wearing the Jenny Packham Something Blue earrings instead). They're definitely very pretty statement earrings, but they need some TLC.

Unique yet timeless
I wore these earrings as my "something borrowed" for my wedding. They were truly gorgeous and looked great with my updo. They're definitely a statement earring as they're quite long, but I wore them all day with no issues since they're not very heavy. Would definitely recommend!

Classy and comfortable
I wore this dress to my NYE engagement party and it was a huge hit! I received a ton of compliments from people my age and the older folks alike. I love that the front is so classy but the cowl-back provides a surprising bit of fun style. I wore the dress without a bra because I didn't want to bother with chicken cutlet stickies and the cowl would reveal a regular bra; the dress fit well enough to provide the support I needed (and I'm a 34D, for reference). However, the 2L that was my original size actually fit even better, but I couldn't wear it because the lining underneath the sequins was significantly longer than the overlay, which looked terrible, so I ended up wearing the 4R, which still fit well. The lining is something to keep in mind in general, though -- as you can see in one of the photos, you have to remember to pull it down after using the bathroom or you'll end up with bunching! Regardless, I felt gorgeous and comfortable in this dress and think it would look great on just about anyone!

Gorgeous Glam!
I wore this dress to my NYE engagement party and loved it! I'm usually between a 4 and a 6, but I sized down for a snugger fit that showed off my cleavage perfectly -- it was sexy, but not over the top (I did use a safety pin for a little extra coverage, but it looked great either way and you can easily wear a regular bra!). Easy to dance and move around in. I did find that it ran a little short; it hit about an inch above the floor and I was wearing pretty short heels (maybe 2.5") and am only 5' 4". I'd recommend getting the long if you want it to skim the floor or are planning on wearing higher heels. Overall, a gorgeous and flattering dress that got tons of compliments all night.

Great Statement Piece
I wore these earrings with two different sequined dresses and they looked great with both! I was a little worried about how heavy they would be, but they have a smart double-back (there's a regular post with the rubber back, plus an additional clasp) that keeps them secure and supported. Fun way to accessorize with a statement piece without a lot of color, so it goes with everything!
