Loved the fit - I am usually a 12 but the 10 fit me perfectly even with my big arms and shoulders. If you are between sizes I'd get your backup in the size smaller than your regular. The fabric is stretchy and formfitted yet forgiving in the stomach. Super flattering pick for hourglass figures. Even though this dress was long sleeve and form-fitting, it stayed pretty cool, even with spanx and a bra. I wore this to a wedding where I danced nearly every song and didn't overheat. I loved this print too! It was interesting and colorful without being tacky or loud. I'm usually not a fan of prints, but I will definitely rent again for a future winter event.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the dress. Great material for a sticky summer wedding. I was hoping it would be a little more fitted through the waist, but I had to size up to accommodate my busty bits, so the rest of the dress wasn't as fitted. In the picture I'm wearing a push up. The length looks short on the model but if you're not leggy this will probably hit a few inches north. I'm 5'5" and my lace hem hits 2-3" above the knee. The waist doesn't hit at the natural waist, it's more of an empire cut bust. The hips and butt of the dress are a little flowy, which is forgiving for people with a pooch. If you want a sleek and sculpted look I'd get another dress. Now about the bust. If the girls are well-endowed (larger banded C's or D's) would recommend you get your normal size and the size up so you can play with wearing a bra, wearing no bra, wearing a padded bra, etc. You could do this dress bra-less, but I had no problem with my push up bra showing either. There are even bra strap hooks built into the dress straps.

So happy this dress fit me! I am usually a 10 in stretchy dresses and a 12 in non-stretchy dresses and juuuuust squeezed into the 12R. I am a 36D and can't imagine being able to fit a bra under this dress. I think a 14R would have been a better fit but I didn't have enough time to make the sizing change. Please consider getting a size up as the material does not have any give! I am 5'5 and with 3 in. heels the regular length came almost to the ground in the back. The fit is lovely for a classic hourglass and a good choice for those with a smaller waist, but is still forgiving in the lower stomach area. The fabric is so lovely and the detailing on the bottom with the low-high hem gives it just enough polish. My favorite part was I already had everything to style this dress. You could go black, gold, even red or turquoise with accessories. I chose a giant dangling black earring and some small bracelets along with a strappy gold sandal. You could even do a fancier belt on the waist is that's your bag. Whatever you pick, the dress is so special that your accessories don't need to be over top. I am 5'5 and the regular length was perfect with 4 in. heels . Please consider getting a size up as the material does not have any give!
