Although this dress fit the theme of my event perfectly, I did not end up wearing it. Although I felt that it fit true to size and looked very flattering on everyone in their pictures, I was not feeling very confident when I tried it on. I felt that it showed every bump on me. The small would have been the correct size for me as there is a large size difference between the two.

This photo does not do the dress justice. I am not great at photos so I was not able to show how flattering it was in real life. Seriously, I have never regretted renting this dress and keep returning to it as my go-to. I would buy it if I had the option. I was originally very hesitant about the pattern being too bold but it is really flattering in real life. I have worn this for weddings as well as fancy charity events and it fit in perfectly each time. Additionally, there is just enough stretch through the torso that I feel it is tight enough to hold itself up without being remotely restricting. The pattern helps to hide any aspects of my body I was uncomfortable with in such a fitted dress. The slit also goes up pretty high but not to the point of where I was uncomfortable and allowed me to move freely. The fit is pretty true to size. I would say, I wore a size 6 this time because I had rented a 6 and an 8 (as I am 12 weeks pregnant in this photo, I didn't know how much extra space I would need). Previously I wore a size 4 and I preferred the fit but made it work with a 6 this time. The 6 was a bit loose in the chest compared to the 4 and I felt I was worried it would fall down a bit but that was my fault for not knowing what size to get in the first place in comparison to previous rentals. I did not have the same issue with the 4 previously.

I loved this bag. I unhooked the chain and put them in the purse to have for if I decided I was tired of holding it but I held it all night. It is big enough that I felt like I wouldn't lose it and it fit well in my hand but small enough that it wasn't bulky. It fit the chain, my phone, lipstick, cards, with room to spare. The color is really pretty and was a great simple but pretty accent against my floral dress.
