They have very sturdy backing so I wasn't worried at all about them falling off. Big enough that if you have a second hole in your ears at the lobe you probably can't wear any there. I had a navy blue dress and wore my hair up and I got many compliments about them as statement jewelry pieces.

I rented this dress for law school prom (Barrister's Ball) and I got so many compliments! It was a wintery night and the fabric is a little heavier than I had anticipated but that actually worked out for the best. I am a size 16 waist and size 18 chest (42G) and it was a little tight up top but didn't feel constricting at all. I love the sleeves because they drape over arms very naturally. The inside hanger strings tend to slip out easily though, so just keep an eye out.
