I wore this to a Sunday evening performance of Hamilton in Louisville, KY
I wore a cami underneath and used fashion tape on the shoulders to prevent any "wardrobe malfunctions". The top section is designed to be a bit loose/flowy. Very flattering dress overall. I'm 5'8" and wore flats with this floor length dress. Heels would also look nice. This dress can be dressed up as I did or worn casually....thinking a beach/tropical vacation dress.

The proportions on this dress are a little off.
This is a beautiful dress. However, after considering other reviews, I tried on a size 12. I'm normally a size 14. Most of the dress fit perfectly...except for the top. It was entirely too big/loose and too long. I wear a 38C bra for comparison and I'm 5'8".

Gorgeous flattering dress!
I tried this dress on for my upcoming rehearsal dinner. It's so flattering and beautiful! Like other reviewers I agree that the zipper is difficult to get past the sash area. You will need assistance with it.
