short in torso
other reviews mentioned it being short in torso, I thought I'd be fine since I'm petite/shirt. normal size did fit, but could tell torso was short/snug. However, after a few minutes and moving, it really wasn't noticeable. Sizing up helped the torso but was much too large in bust. I did need help with zipper for restroom. I wore it to a resturant/dinner party so wasn't a deal breaker for me. Comfortable, trendy, love the colors. Not a heavy fabric.

Awkward fit (but so pretty)
I reserved this when it was brand new with no reviews but it seemed too perfect for a southern spring wedding. The fabric is silky/sheen which makes it more formal. However, the fit is strange. You need to have a large chest and narrow hips with skinny thighs. I had to size up even get the dress down over my legs. It was snug and then the sides of the top (under the arm) poked out a bit. Another size up would have gapped at the chest. I decided to wear it because I had been looking forward to it so much. But it was definitely not my most comfortable rental and sitting during the ceremony was more challenging. Although, between the print and ruffles it does a good job of hiding any fit imperfections.

comfortable & lightweight
[sorry for the last minute photo at end of the night] Rented this for a springtime outdoor party. Wore the M. True to size. Pros: lightweight, trendy, comfortable, loosefitting so no sizing worries, not cropped. Cons: not super breathable fabric, shoulders do not stay down, arm/wrist elastic on M was worn out so I was unable to push sleeves up. Overall this rental was a win for me. Even though shoulders didn't stay down, I was comfortable all day and had many compliments.

elegant with rich color
Rent this! But size up one. When I placed my order there was only one review so sizing was a guess. I've been typically wearing an 8. I ordered an 8 but 10 was not available so I added the 12. The 8 "fit" but would not have been comfortable to eating/drinking/dancing. I believe the 10 would have been perfect as the 12 have room to spare but worked just fine. At only 5'2 it was a couple inches below my knee, but to full midi length. The looser size definitely helped with dancing and stairs. It is a bit of a thicker fabric so take notice for outdoor or warmer events. I loved wearing it. I never had to adjust, pull, or tug at it all day & night. Plus you can wear a regular bra- always a score in my book!

wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen, but worth it!
Both M and L arrived with missing hook&eye closure. However I doubt it would have been sufficient in keeping the top closed. I used a safety pin to hold it close. The top is not line & very thin. The bottom is lined. It is a true wrap dress so we aware if you'll be outside. My even was inside so I didn't have to worry much about it blowing open. As a true wrap dress it takes some caution to wear, especially with a larger chest. BUT, the print & colors are outstanding in person. I have rented about 40 dresses and haven't been this excited about one in awhile. I didn't want to take it off even though it may not have been the most comfortable. It was so cute for a summer event.

Comfortable with great back detail
The color is much better in natural/bright lighting. Slight thicker fabric and fully lined. Able to wear regular bra. Needed alittle steaming when it arrived. Comfortable to wear all night but would recommend sizing up, pretty straight fit through hips.

casual dressy & comfortable
I wanted something that wouldn't be too dressy for a summer event. When I read a review about this dress keeping cool in summer heat, I had found my pick. The building our event was in had a broken a/c at the time, so this dress ended up being a perfect pick. Its very thin but the dark color saves you from sweat showing! Pairing with white accessories kept it bright enough for summer. It was alittle long on me, which I expected. I ended up wearing the L. The M fit but like most dresses the bust was alittle snug so I just opted to be more comfortable. It has some billowing at waist due to the L being alittle too large, but it wasn't terrible. I do think it would look better on a straighter frame. But, the comfort level on it was excellent!

great for warm weather
I wore this for a day spent outside in nearly 90 degrees. It was a great lightweight, flowy dress. It does run large so you could size down. It is a muted color, not as bright as I expected.

Overall the shirt is a bit big/loose. It fit well across bust but wasn't tailored in enough on sides. It just looked oversized. However, I don't think a small would have fit in the bust. It was a good fabric and lightweight.

I wanted to love this dress, but it was too tight in the bust. The rest of the dress fit well. I had only rented the M. Unsure if the L would have been better - I think it would have looked too big overall. The print is great and a good lightweight material for warm weather. I just could not wear it due. The tight fit in bust caused me to pull the dress up to fit in bust which created extra fabric and bunching at neckline and in back. Just didn't work.

The dress is much more nude than white in person. The color did like flatter my skin tone. The dress runs large except for in the bust. I needed the M, but the tacking at the top was busted. I could have stitched some tacking back, but the dress was not flattering so I just opted to send it back.

great transition to spring
It was a perfect rental for a night event during the transition to spring. But take notice it is very thin, no lining. Which was fine for my event as it was inside. The dress has a very relaxed fit with no elastic seams or zippers. It was more than comfortable.

The color is a good rich green. The fabric is fairly thick. I decided not to wear. My backup size fit but was still not comfortable enough for a long night and dancing. I also did not love how the shoulder fabric fell. I felt like I would have had to keep readjusting. I sent it back and wore a dress from my sister.

percect for comfort during holidays
I rented this for Christmas Eve with family. I was looking for something cute but comfortable for a long day of events. This was perfect. I knew the S/M/L sizing would mean more stretch for comfort. I wore the M and it fit great. It was alittle loose around waist band making it great for moving around alot. The sleeves were just right and not tight. This rental isn't over the top in anyway but it was so comfortable and perfect for what I was looking for. Very happy with it.

Amazing
This dress was nothing short of amazing. This is approximately my 30th rental and likely my favorite. It is definitely my most complemented rental thus far. The fabric is a good thickness with just enough stretch. I had to wear the L due to M arriving with a bad zipper but it worked out just fine. The biggest difference between two sizes was tightness of arm piece—therefore I had alot of movement while dancing. As some other reviews have mentioned- the hanger loops do pop out easy and often. I used safety pins to pin them inside before leaving and it worked out great.

Small. But good customer service
I wanted to love this dress. I rented it for a masquerade themed work banquet. I thought it would work so well and fit the theme. But, it was a let down. While the dress is beautiful and I loved the colors, it is a strange/ill fitting dress. I sized up as other reviews recommended but the 10 was still tight at the black waist band. It was too tight to comfortably sit (or really even stand). I called customer service and they overnighted me a 12. Again, snug. Wearable but snug. My torso also isn't long enough for this dress. The black band makes the dress unable to go past your hips and without a long torso it created some bunching. Also, as many reviews stated, the bust is very tight and will flatten you out which didn't bother me as much as the bunching. Unfortunately one of my least favorite rentals

Perfect for summer dress
As most other reviews have said, this runs large. I usually wear a 6 in rentals and wore a 2 in this dress. I was skeptical to request both sizes smaller than my normal (4&2), but do it! The lining of the 2 was slightly tight around the bust but there was no visible pulling as the overlay is loose and fairly thick fabric. The color is so great in person and such a comfortable dress.

Rented this for a spring day wedding. Color was great and formal enough dress for wedding. However, I was slightly disappointed when it arrived. I was expecting a different fabric - smooth, thin, maybe a bit of shine. But the fabric was thick, alittle rough, and matte. Upside to thick fabric was good coverage and more forgiving. Sized up in this rental due to straight fit.

I rented this for a rehearsal wedding. It was comfortable and right on trend of high neck/cutout. It is a very thin fabric so be careful with undergarments. It looks so great in person! To be honest, I didn't wear it. I rented it during a 3for1 promo and it was my backup. I liked the other two and never ended up needing this one. But I will be keeping it on my list for the future. As others have said, slip is alittle snug. But my typical size fit fine. Even though it is snug, once you put over layer on, you can't tell. The over layer is alittle heavy due to all the embroidery but its beautiful. The bust was alittle snug, I'd size up for fuller bust.

Found it was true to size, not large
Several reviews indicated dress ran large so I sized down for backup. But I wore my normal size. I did not find it ran large. It was slightly tight across chest and in arms. After a little while it wasn't noticeable anymore. It ended up being a very comfortable dress for a full day of events from outside couples shower to dinner date. I'm glad I picked this rental and would rent again.

Great rental & great color
I rented this for my sorority's 50th anniversary party. I knew I wanted it immediately when I saw it, as our color is pink. It was perfect. Some reviews mentioned the fabric around sleeve & collar to be itchy but I didn't find that at all. The fabric is a bit thick, so may not work as well in summer or outside. It was fitted at hips & bust so may want to size up for backup. Due to thick fabric and structured material I did not need to wear a bra. It was comfortable all night & I received several compliments.

strange fit
I reserved this rental when it was fairly new with only a couple reviews. I was excited to wear it but unfortunately the fit was too poor. The overall sizing was true to size with a good fit at waist and hip. However, the sleeves were long and the material along the deep-v did not lay flat with bunching near shoulders. Maybe my torso isn't long enough. I don't know... but it was unwearable. Customer service was great & while they weren't able to overnight me a new dress they did credit my money back for a future rental.

Possibly my best rental to date!
Rent this! You will not regret it. This dress was so comfortable! Great for a long day at an engagement party, dinner, & drinks. It has been one of my favorite rentals to date. I love the floral print and off shoulder trend. I received so many complaints of this dress, probably the most I've ever received on a rental. I sized down for my backup as it is a loose dress. I could have worn the small, but the off the shoulder kept moving with the small, probably because it was alittle snug. Wearing the medium solved the problem and the dress stayed in place all day without any trouble.

Love the fun print/detail
Wore this for a fall wedding. The dress was alittle snug across hips and chest, may consider sizing up. the fit was difficult for me. While it was snug on hips, it was large above waist seem. I still wore it and it worked fine. The slit in middle can get alittle tricky for sitting, just be careful. When trying it on and getting ready I never really tried to sit. When I got car to leave I realized the slit comes up quite a bit!

Rented this for NYE. It's a great comfortable little black dress. It is a thin, tshirt type material as other reviews said. It arrived and looking at it in the bag made me nervous. The material seemed so casual and the hems are unfinished, but once on it's great. It has a lining so its not too thin. It is so comfortable to have on. Due to the stretch you're able to size down. I did wear a regular black bra with it, but at times the straps would peak out in the back, so strapless may be a better option.

good for fall/winter in south
Rented this for a brunch followed by a bridal shower. Worked well for both events. Great for "winter" in the south where its never really that cold but still want to wear fall clothes. The fit was pretty true to size. I wore the M as it fit better overall, but was slightly large in arm hole so may get a glimpse of bra at times. The color was also MUCH more muted than in online picture. It is not a rich burgundy. Its more of a brown burgundy. Which was fine as I wasn't renting it to have for color specifically. It was comfortable to wear all day. Collar did get alittle itchy towards end of day.

Easy to wear
The dress runs alittle large. I wore the smaller size, and could have even worn one more size down. Its stretchy. It makes it more difficult to initially get on/off but once on it's comfortable and the stretch allows for sizing down. As other reviews said, it does arrive with a strange smell, but it didn't bother me much. After awhile of having it on you don't notice it anymore. The color, length, and sleeves were perfect for a November wedding. I was worried about length being only 5'2 but it worked out fine. I enjoyed this rental and would rent from this designer again

Perfect bridal shower dress
I reserved this dress before there was a single review. I was so nervous. But I couldn't pass on it and I am SO glad I took the rent. It is amazing! I was sad to take it off at the end of the day and package it back up. I rented a size up for backup but was able to wear original size. It is true to size and was not tight in chest as I've experienced with other dresses. I received numerous compliments and many asking where the dress came from. This dress does not disappoint!

The material is thicker, which is great for undergarments. I wore it to an inside event so the thickness was not an issue. The dress is true to size. The 6 was slightly snug in chest so I opted to wear the 8 for comfort. However it was slightly large and was then longer than 6 but with a pair of heels it worked fine. I'm only 5'2 so I was concerned about the length but I think it worked fine and cutout kept it from looking too conservative. I had been wanting to rent this for something and glad I did. It was a comfortable dress with great color and just enough detail with the cutout. I would size up for backup as it is a straight fit and unable to use most spanx type items due to cutout.

Fun print
I wore this to a St Patrick theme party. My original selection was not available so RTR worked with me to send this option. The only available size was 46 (US 10) which is not my typical size. It was large, but I was able to wear it. It's definitely a casual dress but it worked great for a casual house party. Material is alittle thicker so may not want to wear it in too much heat. It was a fun colorful print and I enjoyed wearing. Would have been even better in a smaller size.

RTR sent as a backup dress
When my originally selection was unavailable RTR sent this backup. I ended up not wearing it, but it was a nice dress. Good material with some stretch. Just not what I was looking for. The 8 fit well so I'm thinking it may rub small. I didn't have any other sizes for comparison. It has a tulle/lacing under layer which kept sticking out & I'm not sure it was supposed to. It kept showing on one side of hem but not the other. Not sure if there has been some dress shrinkage from cleaning and now the under layer is showing in some places.

comfortable with sparkle
Rented this for a spring wedding. I sized up for my backup and I'm glad I did. I wore the 8 due to 6 being tight at bust. The 8 was loose everywhere else but I knew I would be more comfortable moving and dancing in the 8. It wasn't too loose to be noticeable or look bad. I enjoyed this rental. The metallic threading adds a nice sparkle and makes it dressier. Although the background in the rental photo looks white and its really a grayish/blue background.

Perfect for engagement pictures
I rented this for engagement pictures, as so many other reviewers have. I chose it because of the fit & flare with perfect 'twirling' skirt. It worked perfectly. The dress is lined and a good weight to cover undergarments. It is a slight cream/ivory, not stark white. I did find the top was snug so I wore the 6 instead of the 4. The 4 fit better at waist but was nearly impossible to move my arms/upper body. Size up if you need more room in chest. I loved this rental and anxiously awaited it's arrival. It was as good as I expected!

Too tight and short
I rented this for my engagement party. I had high hopes for it. I read other reviews that said it would be tight and tight in sleeves. I rent my regular size (4) and a size up (6). I could not even zip the 4. The 6 was extremely tight even with my spanx on. I could fit in it but I could not sit and it seemed too short (and I'm only 5'2!). Because of the tight fit it also made the zipper bunch up in the back. I choose to not wear it as I knew I would be self conscious of fit and my spanx showing! Thankfully a friend came to rescue with a white dress. On the positive side, I did not find the sleeves tight and the color was a beautiful cream/ivory. Wishing I could have worn it as I was waiting anxiously for it to arrive. Beware and size up!!

I rented this for a Mardi Gras ball. The fit was tight in the bust area, so I would suggest sizing up. I rented a 4p and 6r (6p was unavailable). I was worried the 6r would be too long but thankfully it worked okay with heels as the 4p was too tight in the best. I was excited about the side slit. Unfortunately there is so much fabric to the skirt it really wasn't visible unless you pose with your leg out.

Loved this dress
This dress was amazing. The color is great. The dress is a more 'casual' formal which was perfect for my event. I rented the 4p and 6r (6p wasn't available). I did not get the 6r in my shipment as RTR said it was damaged from previous user. I had no option but to wear the 4p which I wanted to do because I loved it. However, it was extremely tight around the chest and torso - but who needs to breathe anyway ;) The 4p was perfect length with a moderate heel (3-4 inches), which was a concern before receiving the dress.

Stunning dress
I would rent this dress again. It was stunning and I received lots of compliments. The fabric is thick and great quality. The dress fits true to size, but was snug across the chest. I decided to wear the 4 even though it was snug because the 6 was too loose and appeared baggy and ill fitting. The darting and structure if this dress is great. I was concerned about the length hitting below my knee and making me appear even shorter as I am only 5'2 but with a pair of heels it worked fine.
