Floaty Elegance
I rented this as mother of the groom for a sunset wedding in Sonoma and It Was Perfect. I am not ordinarily a big fan of the ruffles but the cascades of fabric down the sides of the skirt were flattering and fun, especially on the dance floor. It's a beautifully made dress and extremely comfortable (every seam perfectly finished, etc.) As usual with RTR the belt came in a separate pouch of its own -- love those details. One warning: even in the Regular length, this gown is long. I had to dig out a pair of 3.5 inch platforms from the back of my closet to keep from stepping on the hem.

Super Cute
I added this cute bag to a bigger order because... who doesn't want to carry a sunny yellow straw bag on Labor Day weekend? Got lots of compliments because it's eye-catching and unusual. Holds a lot, and it's light-weight. Unlined and no pockets, so your phone will sink right to the bottom. Small price to pay for a shot of sunshine on your arm!

Super Chic!
I loved the understated quality of this little bag in the photo, and it did not disappoint. Wore it for a West Coast sunset wedding and it was perfect. It is quite heavy, even without the chain (which I didn't use). And the catch doesn't close very securely. Holds a phone, a lipstick, maaayybee a pair of sunglasses. But what more does a woman need?

Festive Floral
Great example of a dress I never would have bought but loved wearing for one night. I rarely wear white; find silk too high-maintenance; am scared of short skirts, and yet there I was last night in this adorable flowery frock, reaping lots of compliments. It really is short: I'm only 5'5" and the hem was about 4" above the top of my knee. Because the cut is completely straight, there's no coverage when you bend over or sit. I got around this by wearing opaque tights. However the white voile lining tended to stick to the tights so I had to resurrect an ancient half-slip so the narrow skirt didn't ride up. It's not a dress I would want to own but I felt great wearing it for one night. Also, praise for customer service: my alternate size was damaged so RTR got in touch and sent me 2 sizes of an alternative dress in case choice #1 didn't work out. Very impressive.

Chic and Easy
Warned by previous reviews I bought the Small and I'm glad I did. I'm a short-waisted 8 and the fit is perfect around the chest (where it fits most closely). Length is just above the knee. This is a real work-horse of a dress; wear it alone, with a short cardigan, over a crisp white button-down, with patterned tights. Lovely durable wool with a natural stretch and a soft finish (not at all itchy). It is sort of trapeze-cut, i.e. wider at waist, widest at hem. Not figure-hugging and arguably not flattering but I'm going to find it very useful and have already received lots of compliments on it.

Not your average lace LBD! Lots of pretty details on this one: flamenco-flavored hem, multiple lace patterns, bracelet sleeves. Nice heavy lace and stitched-in lining ensure you won't be fussing with it all night. You'll need a strapless bra -- shoulders are quite exposed. TTS 8 but no disguise for a tummy, it's pretty form-fitting. I'm short-waisted & the hem just grazed my kneecaps. If I owned this it would be in heavy rotation for nights out.
