This dress looked amazing online and I've always wanted to wear a Christian Siriano, so I decided to order for a wedding I was attending. I read a lot of reviews and most women were saying the dress ran small, so I ordered a size 8 -- I would have also ordered a 6 as my back-up, but unfortunately it wasn't available for the dates I needed, so I just stuck with the 8. I felt that the dress probably does run more true to size. The 8 was definitely a little large -- especially in the chest area, since I don't have a huge bust. I had to be careful because the shoulders would slip down my arms on occasion and I didn't want a wardrobe malfunction exposure! I think if I had the size 6 it would have been perfect -- but it was still such a fun dress! I danced the whole night and it was very comfortable and light. The skirt was sometimes a little poke-y when you sat on it due to the feathers/fringe, but not too bad. I got several compliments during the night!

This dress was not something I would normally wear, but I rented it to go out with a friend in downtown Chicago for my birthday. It loved the color and it was very cute & sparkly. I ordered both a Medium & Small, and while I felt the Medium was a more comfortable length for me, I thought it was a little baggy and I actually looked slimmer in the Small as it showed my shape a bit more. That being said, I am 5'8" and I felt the Small was very short on me! I did wear booty shorts/shape wear underneath so I would not have an accidental flashing incident. Also, be aware you cannot wear a normal bra with this dress due to the cut-out in the back. I bought stick-on cups and those worked well. It was a very comfy dress otherwise and I had no issues going on out on the town and dancing til the early morning hours in it!

Ended up not wearing -- chest area is very large. I have a small chest, but had my friend who has DDs tried this on and it was still too large in the chest area. We could have used a safety pin to make it work, but chose to exchange at the RTR store in Chicago.

I rented this dress for an afternoon wine festival. It was very comfy (loved the pockets!) and fit well. It was slightly chilly as I'm in northern IL, so I wore a jean jacket over the dress, but it still looked super cute! Loved the colors too. This is my 2nd Shoshanna brand dress rented, and I think either she tends to run her dresses large or else my body type really works for her dresses because in both cases, the 4 fit me perfectly and I'm usually around a size 6.

Runs pretty true to size -- only issue I had was that the boning in the bodice felt like it might have started poking through a bit and was a little uncomfortable. Overall, though, I loved this dress. The color is a brighter kelly green than it looks in pictures. I have a typical pear shape, so strapless dresses that are tight on top and then flow work GREAT for me. I felt very slim!

I rented this dress for a mehndi party on the Friday evening before the wedding -- the dress is very comfortable and a very pretty dark blue color with a sparkly overlay/threads. Runs a bit big, I thought, as I ordered a 6 and a back-up 4 and the 4 fit me perfectly.
