I rented some formal dresses along with a few that I could wear to work. I got so many compliments on this dress. The fabric is of excellent quality, and I love the pattern as well. I’m sure you could wear it other times of the year, but November/December is the perfect time. I loved it so much that I bought a brand-new version of the dress from the Kate Spade outlet. I never would’ve purchased this dress had I not rented it first and seen how well it fit.

I’m going to preface this by saying I’ve rented this same dress once or twice before and absolutely love it. I’ve lost some weight and dropped from a size 10 down to a size 8 this time, and unfortunately, I am not as endowed as I was at a size 10, so the dress felt uncomfortable and far too large in the chest. Comfort-wise, wearing the dress is a pleasant experience; it hugs all the right curves, and the weight feels high-quality. I didn’t end up wearing this dress, but it truly is stunning.

I removed the strap and used this as a clutch with a floor length red formal dress. I think the size was perfect. You could definitely fit your phone credit cards lipstick and maybe a fob car key. I wasn’t driving, but it still felt like I had enough room to add one. unfortunately, I set the purse down for all photos.

When you initially put the dress on, it feels so incredibly soft and comfortable. This was easy to wear for 6+ hours. Given that I’m 5 feet tall, I purchased some nude 2” heels to wear with the dress, but actually, I could’ve worn flats, and it would still not have hit the ground. I was a little concerned about the draping in the back, but it worked out just fine. I wore high waisted control top nylons, but did not wear Shapeware and it still looked great. I did buy a bra with a clear plastic strap going across my back on Amazon. If I were taller, it would be essential to have a clear strap, as you would be able to see the slit and the skin much more easily.
