This is a lovely dress! I wore it to work during the summer in San Francisco (with a belt, heeled sandals and a cardigan). Got compliments all day on the color, the fabric, everything. BUT...those poor buttons! By the end of the day they gave up and kept coming open. Probably would've been ok with some double-sided tape. All the other reviews are correct: no give in the waist, size is true but no give in the waist (I kept the waist unbuttoned and used a big belt. The buttons buttoned just fine but felt a teensy bit too tight for sitting/moving through the day), the skirt is super heavy and lined but the top is not lined, nice deep pockets! I'm a little over 5'4 and this dress was a perfect midi length for me.
