I rented this dress for an on-the-water wedding in Jamestown, Rhode Island. It was perfectly casual-yet-dressy, and I got so many compliments on it (and a number from a cute guest!). I would say it runs true to size or slightly larger; I usually wear between an 8-10 and I went with the 8 because it is slightly stretchy. The length is great, although the lining on my dress kept peeking out of the bottom. I wish I could afford to buy this dress! I would definitely recommend it. I ordered both a medium and large in this dress, as I was concerned with the length, but I ended up wearing the medium. I put that this dress runs large because it is a loose cut, so some people may be able to wear a smaller size than usual. The length is short enough to be sassy, but long enough to cover what needs to be covered when you move around. The fabric is lightweight and swingy, so it's great for even a more casual party, like the one I went to, but it can easily be dressed up if need be. My only issue with this dress was the facing on the inside of the keyhole--it tends to flap around and stick out of the neckline. However, since RTR sends fashion tape with your order, I used a little of that to make it stay. I would totally suggest getting this dress--I would buy it if I could afford to own it!
