The dress is definitely tight fitting. The model's picture makes it look like a shift dress and that it is not. Definitely body con. That said, it was sexy and the colors were awesome.

As other reviewers mentioned, this dress runs a bit large on top. The bottom of the 6 fit better, but the top was too loose. I could've worn a strapless bra to fill it out a bit, but it already has boning and then it wouldn't have been as flattering on my waist. The colors are vibrant and the fabric is great. My only problem was that when sitting, the dress would ride up. This probably wouldn't have been a problem with the 6, and I have a curvy bottom half. Otherwise, it's a fantastic dress, super comfortable, and different from anything anyone else had on.

I ended up not wearing this dress, but it is very pretty. The colors are a little bit more muted (there's more gray than you can see in the picture), but it's still a great pattern. I usually wear a 4 or 6. I only got the 6 in this dress and probably would have worn it had I gotten the 4. It felt a little too bulky up top with my padded strapless bra, but without it, it was too baggy (I'm a 34C). It probably would've also been more flattering if it were more fitted. Where the band fit on the 6, made me look too boxy. It's also worth noting that the measurements listed here are wrong. I was concerned, because 35" would fall way past the knee, but a fit specialist measured the dress in the warehouse and said the 4 was 24.5" and the 6 was 25.5". Unlike other reviewers, I did not find the dress too short. It fell a little past midthigh on me.

This dress is gorgeous and photographs well. I wore it to a beach wedding. It was a little bit formal for the occasion, but the colors and fabric make it fun. There's boning on the inside, so I was able to go bra-less and still have a nice shape and it hid my reception food paunch. Also, the smocking on the back made the dress pretty forgiving. The slit up the middle felt a little racy at first, but it was really hard to show your goods and it was nice to have the length on the sides and back. I usually wear a 4 or 6 and wore the 4 in this dress (only got it in one size). I think a 6 would fit just as well because of the smocking.

I loved this dress even more than I thought I would. It's so fun and super comfortable, which you can't say about a lot of sequined numbers. I normally wear a 4/6 and a small in most dresses that I've rented, but that's mostly because I have a small ribcage and avoid dresses that are fitted in the lower half. I was initially worried, because they didn't have my backup size (M) and I have a curvy bottom half. Even though I read the dress is stretchy, I didn't want it to look like a banded dress (not really my style). However, it stretched where it needed while still giving the skirt a loose look. There were a few times that it rode up a bit, so I would've liked to at least try the medium, but overall it fit well and it was great when I was sitting and didn't have to worry about any bulges. Also, no need to worry about the chest area. I wore a NuBra with it so that I could pull the back lower and not worry about my bra showing and my friend said my boobs looked awesome (and I'm not busty).
