The skirt is very heavy and so it pulls on the bodice a little, which made the lower side of the neckline nearly expose some things I didn’t want to show off. The bodice is like a stretchy ribbed material and I wanted to love it, but it wasn’t as fantastic as I was hoping.

I loved the colors, and the skirt is to die for. I wish I could buy that exact skirt separately. There is no give in the waistband, and it was exactly the right size, but way too big in the top. I didn’t swap for a smaller size because of the waistband. I’m 33” at the waist and 39” at the bust and it just wasn’t a good fit for me.

It was perfect! Structured but very comfortable, fitted and flattering, but forgiving. I usually need smoothing shorts under a dress like this, and I did wear some shorts (for the thigh chafe) but I didn’t need them because the fabric is excellent. And who doesn’t love a cape moment? The color is more magenta than hot pink, definitely on the purple side. I think I could have gone a size or two down and been fine because it’s so stretchy.
