I’m a fan of Black Halo and generally their dresses run small but was suprised by how much smaller this one felt. I’m a size 14 and even with the 16 had to pull it down every once in a while—thank goodness for that hint of stretch. Otherwise, the fit was nice. It’s more of a forest green than an emerald. Overall, I loved it.

Loved this dress. The top was a little big as it gapped in the bag but nothing too noticeable. It was airy and light and felt great on as I twirled around on the dance floor. Would rent it again.

Loved the dress color. Although it fit fine, this is not a dress you can wear if you're worried about your cellulite. The fabric highlights every dimple. The other odd thing is that the sleeves seemed extra long. I tried the size 12 and the top part including the sleeves fit well, but the bottom was tragic. Also, be careful because the fabric snags easily. So. I would rent it again but maybe for a dinner date.

Beautiful dress, received lots of compliments; however even the regular was too long even in four inch heels. I had to keep gathering the dress around me every time I stood up which was often. I got two sizes, the 10 and the 12. While the 10 fit, the waist was a little tight. The twelve had better breathing room and was a little too big on top, so I wore the 10.

In all honesty, I wasn't that impressed with the dress when I saw it online, but went ahead and ordered it. In person the dress is absolutely gorgeous and fit perfectly. I wore this to my company's holiday party and received lots of compliments. Loved it!

I really loved wearing this dress and received wonderful compliments. It is pretty much as pictured, but I would say it's better for small busted women because I am pretty small on top and the dress was still fitted. I would say when ordering to consider that this is really a designer size and not a mass market sized dress. I'm sure I could have gone a size up, but was worried that the dress would not fit as well.

Pros: I got lots of compliments Cons: Fit is terrible, especially at the top, just too boxy. In addition, the fabric was quite dull compared to the photo. It lacked sheen. Overall, it was kind of disappointing.
