The dress was a nice material, but even with shape-wear, I still felt like there were some bulges in the wrong places. I wore a tank top under the dress because it is pretty low cut, especially having a smaller chest give my overall size. I did receive a lot of compliments on the dress, so I guess my issue was how I felt in it versus how others saw it.

I rented the dress in both the 14 and the 16, and I wore the 14. I am smaller on top than through my hips, and standing up this dress was fine. However, when I sat down, it was gaping on top. Even after two safety pins to keep the top from gaping and my bra from hanging out, I still couldn't get it to lay right. I did get rave reviews wearing the dress, and it is very forgiving through the hips. I recommend it, but if ladies are more pear-shaped like I am, I would try a different style.
