Listen, you're gonna think you can beat the odds and order your regular size. DON'T. Even if you've worn other dresses of this brand before. I usually wear 2, 4, even 0 sometimes. I have a pretty small bust and waist - usually my hips are the thing that push me into bigger sizes, but this dress is loose around the hips so that wasn't the issue. I wore the 6 and it was still quite tight. It didn't start slipping down by the end of hours of dancing, but it stay up nicely for hours. Really fun and I got so many compliments! Wore it for an "outshine the bride" dress code.

I didn't end up wearing this but it was beautiful and fit really well! The ornamentation at the very top seemed like it might flop around a bit more than you'd want, but fashion tape would likely solve that. This would be a great black tie dress, and was the right length on me with low heels!

Listen, I know what you're thinking. You're reading all these reviews and thinking, "Hm. Seems like people are being dramatic. Maybe they just have broader shoulders than average." NO. I have relatively narrow shoulders, and it was still a terrible fit on me. The picture shows me lifting my arms as far as they could go. It's not even entirely the shoulder width, it's something about the way the sleeves are attached combined with a too-small bust allowance combined with a non-stretch fabric? I'm not sure that this dress was constructed properly, but maybe if you size up a couple sizes it could work. I don't know. It's a very pretty true red color and nice fabric, so I really wish it had worked! But omg! My shoulder-to-shoulder measurement (across the back) is 17.5" and my upper arm circumference is 11". Good luck out there.

I think this dress was probably objectively fine on me, but I don't love strapless dresses (the look or the pulling it up all night), and the very pretty red overlay wasn't enough of a tradeoff. The fabric was quite clingy and not very thick, so my stomach felt very on display from the side. Also, the bust was a bit tight on me.

This dress fit very well on my bust and waist, though I would have worn it with sticky boobs with some lift if I'd gone with this option as the v neck was a bit low but not terribly supportive. The gold flowers had a nice sheen and the fabric had a nice weight without being too heavy. There are gathers on the butt which form a fuller train, which I loved but others might not. Really pretty, but I ended up going with something I liked more!

This dress has great structure and a nice fabric. The long was definitely too long for my 5'6". It was a tad tight, though I was able to fully zip it and it made me look very hourglass. The side profile was not my favorite though. Above all I felt it wouldn't be very comfortable for dancing at a wedding. Also, it was very *senator's wife*, which is a great look if you're going for it, but it sort of made me feel like I was a kid playing dress up.
