Conservative with flair.
Wore the 4 for a formal holiday party. Fit well on top and in the waist. While the arms were snug it wasn't an issue (except when zipping Or unzipping the dress). Only con is the edges looked a bit worn/frayed due to multiple washed or wears. Excellent quality, fabric, and fit.

Perfect dress for twirling
Ordered for a fall wedding-- that was rained out by hurricane Joaquin. Was able to wear with hunter boots and still look classy. Wore the 4 due to reviews to size up as a back-up. I wonder how the 2 would have fit as I had plenty of room. Didn't wear a bra but wore a necklace to cover some of the major skin exposure/cleave you earn with the deep V. Ended up not using the fashion tape I purchased. Lots of compliments, fun, comfortable, and amazing on the dance floor. Definite crowd pleaser.

This was a replacement as my back-up size for a other dress was unavailable. The cut-out isn't my style and didn't seem appropriate for the wedding I was attending. Seemed like a quality dress for another occasion.

Definitely size up. I ordered a 4 and 6, the latter was not available. The 4 was beyond too tight and left little to the imagination. Make sure you get a backup with this number. Beautiful color and a classy/sexy combo, sad it didn't work out.

So Fancy
As a first time rental, I ordered this dress for a black-tie wedding, 4L and 2L. The 2L fit like a glove and I didn't need to wear a strapless bra, although I didn't fasten the inside clasp around the bust. The length was perfect with 3-4" heels. The color is most certainly black but it seemed to photograph a little blue at times. The cut of the dress makes it challenging to take on stairs and don't expect to take on the dance floor full throttle. By the end of the night, the weight of the dress and maybe the fabric giving a bit made me feel like I had to pull up the dress a fair amount. Overall, the dress feels and looks extraordinary; I felt the same way I did when I played dress-ups as a little girl :)

Better in Person
I got this dress as a back -up for a black tie wedding. I did not end up wearing it only because the color was too close to the bridesmaids dresses. In my opinion, the dress looks much better in person than the image suggests. It is incredibly comfortable and I would not have needed to wear a strapless bra with it. I got the 4L which was the perfect length with my 3-4" heels. Would love to rent again if I have an appropriate event!
