I wore something with a dramatic and detailed neckline, so wanted to go with big earrings instead and leave out the necklace. These were beautiful and I want to own them... they worked great. Only downside is that they kept snagging on my scarf, so they might be better for a warm-weather event where you don't plan to wrap up in anything.

I got this dress for a baptism (which for Greeks is basically like a wedding reception). I'm 7 months pregnant and I hate most maternity dresses out there. No matter what style they are, I feel frumpy and huge in them, but I'm neither of those things... Pre-pregnancy I'm 5'2" 110lbs and wear a 0 or XS. Currently I'm rocking 135 lbs. I ended up wearing the S, and it worked great! It was a smidge shorter in front than in back because of the belly, but not enough to really notice. The fabric twist in front kind of accentuated the belly being where it was, so if you have a bigger midsection, be prepared for that. But with a smaller mid-section, I think it would actually be quite flattering. My only complaint is in the detail along the neck-line. In all the pictures it looked silver, so I rented silver earrings to go with it. But I got the dress and the sequins are actually more of a gold/copper color, so the earrings clashed! I wore them anyway because my hair mostly covered them up, but I wish I would have known that... Plan for gold jewelry to match this, not silver!

Wore this to my black tie optional work holiday party. In so many if the other reviewers pics, I saw adorable baby bumps and was optimistic that this dress would work for me too at 26 weeks and up about 20 lbs from my pre-pregnancy size 0 (5'2" 110lbs). And I was not disappointed!! I got the shorter size and the 2R fit like a glove, draped beautifully over the bump, and was the perfect length (wore 3 inch heels). It was just what I wanted - I didn't try to hide the bump, but I did not want a "maternity dress" aka the belly would have been proudly displayed. I felt elegant and sophisticated which is a nice change of pace from my usual uniform as of late... my husband's sweatpants and old hoodies. Highly recommended for anyone with a bump!!
