I have a short torso and I often don't like V necks because they can be too deep. The waist hit at just the right spot for me and the arm holes/shoulder straps weren't too large which is often the case since I have a bigger chest but am petite. I also appreciated the wide shoulder straps which allowed me to wear a regular bra. The material was rich and on the heavy side (not cheap) but still moved well and was breathable. Got lots of compliments on this dress!
