This dress was damaged by the previous renter, so I didn't receive it in my size. I did get the backup size, but it was much too small. In fact, I think this dress may run small, because I wasn't able to get the sleeves all the way up my arms, even though the back-up was only one size smaller than what I wear. That said, the dress is really, really pretty in person. The fabric has a nice satiny sheen to it, and it seems like it would be really comfortable.

RTR sent me this dress as a replacement when my original dress didn't arrive and my backup didn't fit. I thought this one would be an acceptable substitute, but it was much better than that. It's very comfortable and very light, and the fabric flows really nicely when you move. Pretty true to size, but I think I could have sized down if I wanted a more form-fitting look. The length was perfect in 3" heels. As others have mentioned, this dress is fairly thin (though it is lined), so if you've got any lumpy business going on, you're going to want to wear Spanx, and they'll have to be the low profile kind. As for a bra, I managed with pasties because that's all I had on hand, but a fully cupped adhesive bra would have been better.

From the hips up, this dress fit like a dream. It just grazed the floor with 3" heels. The skirt, however, is a very narrow column that didn't work on my wide-hipped frame. If you've got more of a straight, athletic figure, I think this dress will look wonderful, since it pulls you in at the middle and creates curves even where there aren't any, but if you've got a true hourglass shape, it's probably best to stick to shorter Leger dresses. Another thing to note about this dress is the weight. It probably weighs around 5 pounds; the fabric is quite heavy, so it's a great option for a winter event but may be less ideal for a summer one. Finally, there's not much support in the bust, and the straps fit fairly loosely, so if you need some help up top, this might not be the dress for you. All that said, if it hadn't featured my hips so prominently, I would have been in LOVE with this dress.

Unfortunately, this dress wasn't shipped to me because it had been damaged. So, I suppose the only thing I can say is, please, ladies, be careful with the lace!

This dress "just works." It hugs your curves without clinging or squishing. It's very light and easy to move in, too. The length was perfect in 3" heels, although I did have to pull the skirt back down each time I got up from my seat. The only caveat I'd offer is that there's no bust support, so gravity-challenged ladies may want to keep that in mind.

This dress is really lovely. It's got great lines and does amazing things for your bust. However, the two slits have a kind of loin-cloth effect, so if you're not comfortable with both of your legs being mostly visible most of the time, you won't be comfortable in this dress. If you stand perfectly still, everything's covered, but walking or sitting reveals a lot. The 8L was a good fit and the perfect length with 3" heels, but I did need Spanx under the dress and couldn't fit a bra under it.

This dress would be gorgeous if it fit perfectly, but it's made with odd proportions. As others have said, the bust is extremely large. I thought I'd be okay since I'm a D-cup, but there was just way too much room in both the 8L and the 10L. On the other hand, the 10L fit nicely in the hips, while the 8L was a little tight (I would have been able to wear the 8L even with the tighter hip cut, but it arrived damaged). Both the 8 and the 10 were far too long with 3" heels. Overall, the fit was just really poor. That said, if you have a large chest and small hips, this is the dress for you. I recommend that girls under 5'10" get the regular length, though, even if you're planning to wear heels.

What you see is what you get...the dress looks exactly the same in real life as it does on your computer screen. It's a nice, bold pink. The fabric is a little more coarse than I would have expected, but the dress's lining keeps everything comfy, and the heavier weight made it possible for me to skip any sort of breast coverage (no stick-on anything necessary). There's not really any stretch in the dress, so you might want to order up for your extra size. I did have a little trouble with the zipper sticking, and the buttons were difficult to fasten and unfasten--you'll probably need a friend's help to get everything closed up. Still, I loved this dress. My "complaints" are really just meant to be helpful tips.
