Flimsy feel
Listen. They were super comfortable, yes, but just too thin and soft of a jean. I feel like wide leg denim should have more structure and these missed the mark. Also ran big and stretched out a bit with wear, a size smaller maybe would've helped the overall look out

Runs big
I rented another 38 in a different brand that was too small, but I was swimmingggg in this. I could fit a whole fist in the waistband, and as a result it sat way lower than it should have and didn't look as good as I had hoped. It also folded funny while walking? I don't know if it's because it was too big and had excess material, or just the way it was cut. I also couldn't tell if it was on the longer than would've been most flattering side, or if the right size would've been the right length. Wore to work so it was fine, but it would've been a lot cuter in a size down

I knew this would be low cut based on the reviews, but I should have sized down for a better fit all around, because as it was it kept falling down in front. The dress has no stretch component like some other Hill House dresses do, but even so it would've fit better in the waist and chest if I had gotten an XS. Bummer cause it was super cute and would've been flattering otherwise!

I was excited for this one but it fell a little flat in person, maybe because it was a lot shorter than I expected? I thought since it was oversized it wouldn't be so cropped, but it was pretty short on me. The rest of the sizing besides length was fine. Note that the pattern has cutouts and you'll have to wear a tank underneath

Elegant but unbelievably tight
The top part has no stretch, and if I didn't have a small head there's no way I would've been able to get it on. It was too tight across the shoulders and chest, passable to wear just uncomfortable

Shoulder pad regret is real
I had a vision, and chose to ignore the reviews about how prominent the shoulder pads were. It kinda worked, I wore it over a dress and also with jeans, but I wish the shoulder pads were toned down a bit because they are quite bulky.

Loved this one, it was so cheerful and easy to wear! Sizing for this dress is kinda all over the place though, rented a 10 in a different pattern and they both fit me similarly. The 6 is probably the better choice for me, I'm usually a 2 in US sizing

I was worried the skirt in a 0 would be too small and gambled because that was all that was available - it worked! Though I could only juuust shimmy it on so I think the 2 would've still been better. If I had wider hips or any butt to speak of I definitely would've needed the next size up, but was able to get away with it

I even sized up one, and this was still tighter than I wanted across the stomach so the buttons pulled a little. It isn't fully opaque so a looser fit would've been more forgiving. Still got lots of compliments though, fun upgrade of a basic white buttondown

AFRM is my go-to going out brand but this is awful, I'm not sure who thought this design would work in real life. Usually their mesh is doubled or less see through, but the bottom layer is completely sheer. You cannot move your arms, because the second you raise them a little the top part shifts and you will be flashing everyone. The top foldover layer is not sewn down/secured, maybe this could be fixed with fashion tape but idk. IMO this also runs a tiny bit smaller/tighter than other AFRM styles
