a classic dress, didn't feel too see-through for me but was a lot of material for a shorter girl (think this is more of a me-issue though, as I'm not used to any dresses longer than my knees).

too much fabric
the pic of the model is deceiving IMO. The skirt portion has a TON of fabric, making it less than flattering. The top fit a little large (but I was not gifted much up top so would be good for bustier gals).

weird darts in chest
would have been a great top. Really nice material and flattering fit, other than the super weird darts in the boobs creating a nipple-like appearance. If that's what you are going for, this top is for you! Sadly, I was not. If you are large chested it might work better though, as it would likely fill out more than it does for me.

tight at first but stretches
Definitely a 'me' problem as I am not used to high-wasted jeans without the fabric naturally having stretch. But after worn for a little they would give so I could breathe. My teen said they were cute, so at least passed that rigid test :-)

material was very thick and odd, and so much material in the shoulder/upper chest but small in waist. I felt like I was being suffocated but also felt frumpy. An odd combo.

super cute on. The buttons and side 'straps' (?) were a little flimsy and something was just off on the symmetry of the particular skort that I received, but I think was a one-off thing. Very cute and perfect to watch a tennis match :)
