Fit Tip
Consider sizing up if you have hips or a fuller rear end. The hip/seat area is a tailored fit not a relaxed one.

Compliments but Tricky Fit
Some of the reviews suggested sizing down, but I would actually suggest the opposite. If you’re between sizes, you may want to try the larger size because the jacket runs slim through the torso. I liked the shoulder fit in the smaller size, but I couldn’t comfortably button the jacket. The larger size fit correctly through the body, but the sleeves were still extremely long. Honestly they seem long no matter what size you get - fold them perhaps. The proportions are a tad unusual: slim through the torso with very long sleeves. Hope this helps.

Nice fit
To be honest, I expected a looser, frumpier look, based on the pictures. I was pleasantly surprised. Based on my body top, it was a tighter fit on top, throughout the torso and a flowing bottom. So, it cinched my waist. I liked it.

It's a sweater dress
The body of the dress is heavy sweater material and form fitting, good quality. The hem or the very bottom of the dress is kind of just there, hanging, doing its own thing without a definite shape. I recommend wearing a pair of riding boots, as pictured.

Comfortable
Comfortable, understated but nice quality. I order between a 14 & 16 currently. I could have worn the 14 easy. The dress is very forgiving and in addition has a belt for adjustments.
