Proportions off
This dress looked bizarre on my 5'3 frame. The look of the sleeves, shoulders, length proportions did not hit at the correct spot and made me look frumpy. However, I think if I went down in size that it would be too tight in the chest. The only good thing I will say is that the quality of the material is nice. It might look better on someone taller.

Too small
I loved this dress! The colors are even better in person, but it was too tight on the ribcage. I knew that would most likely be the case after reading other reviews, but it was the only size available and I took a risk. I am usually a size 4 and I ordered the 8R. I would probably size up 2 times if available in the future.
