Flattering but runs big
Because I'm only 5'3", I needed to wear 2" heels with these pants. I also found the waist was pretty big. Overall, because the cut was flowy and the fit was loose, the pants were pretty flattering and made me look tall and lean, but they were just a touch too big.

Fall Wedding
Super cute but this dress runs really large! I’m usually a size and I sized down to the XS and I still had to safety pin the chest closed to avoid wardrobe malfunctions. The fabric was fairly sheer and the liner was mini length, so sitting and going from sitting to standing was a bit of a struggle.

Cute, but oversized
This was super cute but was just a bit too large even though I ordered a size down. The sleeves were much puffier than I thought and the bodice was much too larger for my frame. I am short, but not petite, and this overwhelmed my curves a bit because it wasn't form-fitting enough. However, it was perfect for a work winter party because it was fun and I could wear sparkly accessories but still a little demure.

Work dress
Got this for work and didn't end up wearing. The fabric is good quality and thick, but it wrinkles very easily. It also was a bit too big in the waist and chest. Because it is a true wrap dress, I was able to tie the waist as tight as I needed. However, that was a little too tight to look good in the chest - too much fabric was folded over and the shoulders got a bit weird. Might work better for ladies with larger shoulders or who are more balanced bust to hips than I am.

Too large in the chest
Got this to wear to work. While this fit well in the waist and hit me an inch or so above my knee, I couldn't make the chest work. The top was a bit saggy so the sleeves weren't cute cap sleeves on me but a bit saggy, and the rest of the top was unflatteringly baggy and loose. Didn't end up wearing, but might work out better for ladies with stronger/wider shoulders.

I wanted to wear this to a garden wedding because it has a great exaggerated A-line shape and a beautiful pattern, but it just didn't fit. I couldn't get the lining layer, which is much more form fitting, over my hips, and couldn't zipper the dress at the waist. It was odd because there was so much room in the bust. I probably should have sized up.

Simple sweet dress
Wore to a rehearsal dinner. Very cute and simple dress. The swiss dot pattern was subtle and very sweet. It was a bit tight in the chest and a bit too long - it was almost maxi length on me because I didn't wear heels.

Garden Wedding
Wore to an outdoor wedding with a "garden formal" dress code. I felt like I nailed the dress code with the main color being green. The fabric was good quality and the pattern and asymmetrical hemline were very interesting. I got lots of comments on the dress. I probably should have worn the M since I've gained weight, but the M was too large in the bust for me to feel confident even though it was a little adjustable with a front-tie. The S worked out, but looking back you can see it's clearly too tight in the waist right under the bust and was starting to fold up. I also wish the dress was a bit shorter. Wearing 2.5" heels wasn't enough to get the true midi hemline shown on the model, which I think would have given me better proportions.

Beautiful but hard to work if short
Wore this dress to an outdoor park wedding the summer of 2020 in deep social distancing. I loved the waist cinching, the pattern, and the great formal but breathable fabric. I had also gained 15 lbs during the first months of social distancing and was grateful that a size 4 (my pre-COVID size) dress fit. However, I think the dress fit because it was too large. I couldn't cinch the waist enough, the neckline was loose, and because I was wearing flat shoes for the park, the dress was floor length on me. It was cute and alright from the waist up but the dress really overwhelmed me and full body pictures are not flattering at all. Not great for petites unless you're going to wear major heels.

Fit beautifully but neckline was not my style.
This dress was picked for me since the original dress ordered wasn't available. This dress fit me very well and the fabric held me in in all the right places. However, the fabric looked a little bit cheap and the cut-outs at the neckline were more distracting than I had anticipated. In the end, this just wasn't my style.

This dress was both fun and work appropriate and a huge hit at my company holiday party.
The dress runs small because I was able to fit into my smaller back-up size when my true size was unable to be shipped. The zipper was difficult and up-close the fabric is getting a bit worn and had some stray threads. However, the dress was exactly the right amount of sparkle to be different at my huge company holiday party. I loved that the dress was cute and fun with a work-appropriate neckline and length (I'm short so it was just right). I got many compliments and wish I could buy the dress to keep!

Wore to company holiday party - too big.
Cons: The dress was huge, especially up top. It barely stayed on my shoulders and the bust was enormous and definitely stretched. I definitely should have sized down rather than up. It was much too large to be flattering. I was also under the impression that the dress was black & silver from the pictures and the fact that RTR styled it with black shoes. It is definitely navy. The zipper was also very difficult. Pros: The material gives the dress a shape (for which I am very grateful - it felt like I was wearing a bag!) and was on the thicker side which was great for a cold night.
