So you can’t see the ruching on the hip area but didn’t matter in the end. I am pear shape so hit tighter on the bottom area than the bust but still loved the dress and got so many compliments on it. The slit is a little high but you don’t notice it until you sit down. It comes up pretty high then. Very comfortable and beautiful.
