Evening out
LK Bennett dresses run small. I am usually an 8 but take a 10 in this brand. The fit is good. Nice, heavy fabric with a bit of give. I did not love the shade of red which was a tad on the orange side for my tastes.

The dress is true to size and the length was perfect (I am 5'8"). The fabric is forgiving and thick enough not to show every little imperfection. Perfect for a holiday party or an evening out.

Elegant dress for evening
I ordered this dress for a New Years Eve party. It fit me perfectly and made me feel confident (and thin!) I love navy for evening instead of black. The fabric has a bit of stretch and it is heavy enough so as to conceal any flaws in your body. Honestly it was a bit too classy for the event. I have a wedding next summer and may rent it again.
