Perfect for spring!
Loved the color and cut, but definitely be prepared for needing a backless, strapless bra (unless you can go without). It was wonderful for standing....but terrible to sit down. The slit in the middle would ride up and the v-neck would get out of whack, even with double-sided tape. I liked the dress, but it needed more of my attention than I would have liked all night.

Comfy and a great color!
Rented to chaperone our winter formal...medium was a little bootylicious for a high school teacher, so I went a size up (although to be fair, I probably would have been self-conscious about the medium at any event). It was stretchy, non-itchy, and such a great green. Caught the light in all the right ways!

Sparkles galore!
Rented this for chaperoning our winter formal...I always try to find something splashy without drawing TOO much attention. The theme was fire and ice, so I went with the sparkly red! Not much stretch, but chaperoning doesn't involve much more than standing around anyway!

Perfect fall color!
This dress was SUPER comfy, and the color was so unusual- a lovely jewel-toned mustard. Stretchy velvet was perfect for an indoor/outdoor fall vineyard wedding.

Great pop of color!
Loved this piece! I wore it to chaperone our homecoming dance ("Blast from the Past"), and it was perfect. Fun, but still totally appropriate for school. I often have trouble in the hips with smalls, but the medium was a little big - it just looked like it didn't fit. And the elastic arms in the medium were SUPER stretched out. So thankfully, the small was great!

Unusual color and asymmetrical cut for a unique look
This dress was a true value and pleasantly surprised me! The color was more vibrant than I was expecting from the photos. The small fit better up top, but I had to do the medium because the fabric has no stretch (the small was too tight across the hips). I ended up having to safety pin at the shoulder to adjust for a better fit. But it was perfect for a vineyard wedding...easy, dance-able, and flattering!

Curve-hugger!
Wore this to a wedding, and it was just what I wanted! Understated but sexy, moved easily, and kind of a different cut and color. It was super comfy! I had to keep an eye on the cut-out...the bottom of my bra could peek through, but nothing too crazy. Would definitely recommend!

Wedding in a resort town!!
The dress was SUPER comfortable...hard to go wrong with something that feels like jersey-knit. I was a little disappointed with the color - it was definitely not as vibrant as what I thought I was getting according to the photo, but overall, I still ended up liking it. And this was one of the best deals I've had with RTR!

March wedding in Portland...still pretty chilly out, but didn't want anything heavy.
I LOVED this dress. It ties with only one other for my all-time favorite rental. It's super stretchy and soft, was the perfect length for me, and just generally hugged in all the right places. And once you see that back...wow!

Perfect small-town Vermont wedding
I'm a very consistent 6, and this dress was no exception...the cap-sleeves were a little restricting (in terms of dancing), and at 5'5", the dress was *almost* too long with 3" heels. I had to be really cognizant of the back of the dress to make sure I wasn't catching it on one of my heels. But I really loved the dress! I got compliments on it all night, and the pattern was so perfect for a fall wedding in Vermont. It was unlike anything I've worn before!

Nonstop compliments on the unusual color!
The dress wasn't the mustardy color I was expecting, but as one review put it, almost a chartreuse...an olive-y yellow maybe. Regardless, it was all anyone could talk about at the black-tie wedding! The fit was great for a curvy size 6; maybe a tad roomy in the shoulders, but that was actually good for dancing. This was my first rental, and after how easy the process was and how fun it was to have such a standout dress, I will only be using RTR for all my special events!
