Sexy & Comfortable
I'm a curvy girl, and this dress made me feel sexy. The velvet fabric has a lovely amount of give to it so it hugs your curves, while the top (white beading) was structured enough that I almost didn't need to wear a bra. (If you know how to apply boob tape, go with that.)

The dress itself is lovely, but it's not cut for curvy girls. I am *very* hourglass shaped and I could not zip it all the way up. But, if you are more athletic I think this could be a great look.

I wore this dress to a work Gala (honoring my boss) and it was perfect. The material is heavy enough to lay right and still flow with your body as it moves. I wear either an 8 or 10 depending on the fit and the 8 was exactly right. I had to wear 3" heels as it's a bit long on a short girl, but looked amazing.

Classy and Elegant
I wore this to a work gala party, and it was perfect. I was able to sit and eat comfortably, but also dance and move around. I felt classy and elegant. I'm glad I listed to the other reviews and down sized (I'm between 8 and 10, and the 8 fit perfectly).

If you have real curves this dress works amazing. You can dress it up a bit, or leave it casual for a date or party. The waist is also forgiving if you've put on a few pounds.

I rented this for a New Years Eve party, and it was perfect. Loved the fit and the style (and it has pockets). It was super flattering, and I didn't need a bra. *note: I've put weight, when I wore this I was about 128 lbs, and and curvy size 4.
