No structure to dress, fabric was meh
The photos of this dress made it seem like it had more bodice structure but that’s not the case. The skirt needed more flare (think: Hill House nap dress) and fabric was clingy in all the wrong places. Did not wear it for these reasons.

Even after reviewing countless reviews, this dress was obscenely short to wear. I’m 5’7” so that might be less of a factor for others looking to rent this dress.

Size up and wear as a beach cover up
I rented this with the hopes of wearing it out during the day. There’s fabric was interesting and felt like it was almost water repellant? But it was super small in the waist. There’s an interior button closure to help secure the skirt, but even at my natural waist, it didn’t fit as designed. I wore it as a beach cover up, button be damned.

I wore these adorable pistachio green shorts to see live music outdoors and despite the heat and humidity, I managed to stay cool! The inside of the shorts reminded me of a light suede material. Would rent again!

While mini dresses can be a risk for those of us on the taller side, this dress was an acceptable length to wear out. It’s a thicker knit that keeps the heat in so beware if you’re renting it for an outdoor summer event as I did.

This pattern, vibrant colors, and scalloped neckline made this a 10/10 dress rental. As a 34B, I couldn’t wear a bra as it was quite fitted through the bust. However, it has elastic shirring on the back so it has some give.

This designer is now on my list of favorites simply because of the cut of this dress: it's forgiving in the midsection without being a tent, it's an appropriate v-neck for work, and the puff sleeves are just enough without overwhelming you. Will rent again!

Very short, size up for length
Reading the reviews of my 5'7"+ peers, I believed a size S would be on the shorter side, but this dress did not fully cover my seat while seated and was too short for my liking. The chest area also felt on the smaller side. I still wore it for an event but constantly tugged at the hem to keep things PG. I recommend sizing up.

A lovely blue dress for work, beware of gaping top
I rented this for work and enjoyed wearing it — the cap sleeve and pleated side panel are adorable details. However, when I sat down in meetings, the top started gaping open and I had to adjust it a few times. And when I walked outside, the light material was easily blown around by the wind. Indoor, standing-only events would be safest for this rental.

Love a knit dress in a bold color for spring!
I sized up to a M based on reviews and felt good about my choice, especially since I wore this for a work event. While it’s a thicker knit dress, it is definitely slimming. And there’s a built-in liner from the neckline to your knees, which is a thinner knit material than the outside of the dress. This was a fun way to try out a bold new color, loved renting this!

The best pop of color for spring workwear
When I tell you that I checked on the availability of this piece for days...and it was so worth the rental for a springtime work event! Size 4 worked well and the chest area fit just right (I'm a 34B). Wanted the matching pants from this Veronica Beard set but my white wide-leg Everlane pants worked well. Such a fun piece for work or events!

Great pick for a black tie wedding
I sized up to a 6R based on other reviews and am glad I did because even then, the fit around the hips was snug when I sat down. The material is thick and comfortable, and the back is such a showstopper! Great for a black tie wedding, especially in the fall/winter.

Spring/summer wedding ready!
This bright coral dress was perfect for a springtime wedding! The cinched waist, floral print on the satin, open back were fun and flattering details. I had no issues with the buttons (as seen in another review) but did have a little extra room in the top (34B and went braless). Would rent again!

Flattering & stretchy
I rented this for a formal work gala and loved the flattering style and stretchy fabric. The fabric has texture that I couldn’t see in the RTR photos, which was better because it was more forgiving. I rented size SR and chose MR as the back-up size and wound up wearing the MR. Because it was a work event, I didn’t want it skin tight around my hips and bottom, so the MR was the best choice for me because of that. The boat neck was so lovely too! 10/10 would rent again.

Too tight in the hips & seat, not for me
I rented this for a work event and was disappointed that even by sizing up, this dress was too tight in the hips and seat for me. (Normally a 4, rented a 6.) As other reviews have said, there is no stretch. Sadly, I wasn’t able to wear this for the event.

Great sweater dress but a little toasty for my taste
I love the design, color, and overall fit of this sweater dress for work or wintertime events. It is a thick, quality knit, but the sacrifice is that it holds in some heat. I wore this for 8+ hours and was toasty at times, which made the inside of the knit a little itchy. Wearing tights and a tank under helped a bit with the itch factor.

I wore this to a work gala and it was both appropriate and had fun details that received lots of compliments! I’m usually a 4 in US sizing, but I ordered the 6R with the 8R as a back up based on previous reviews. I wore the 8R because it was a better fit around my hips/thighs; the 6R was too tight in those areas and I could barely sit. Definitely size up!

I wore this dress for a work gala and it was very flattering! The colors were bold and paired well with a nude heel and a floral-patterned clutch. I'm usually a size 4 in dresses and the 4R fit well and was comfortable, although the top straps were a bit snug on my shoulders (I'd consider myself an athletic build and I have a B cup). The 6R backup size was too large in the bust for me. Definitely a great rental and would wear for other events or weddings!

Unique design, slim fit
I rented this dress to wear to a winter wedding. The lace detail and the back of the dress were so unique and fun! I was comfortable wearing this for 8+ hours and the lace top was not itchy. I'm a true size 4 and pear shaped so the only con was that the bottom had a slimmer fit than expected. However, spanx did help the issue. A great choice for wintertime weddings!
