Head-turning dress, beautiful color
Ended up ordering this as a last minute backup when the dresses I ordered initially didn't fit right/weren't flattering. I had to size up because they were down to just a few dresses left, and while I think I would have preferred the fit of my true-size slightly more, this was still very flattering. I could see how the cutouts might not work for everyone, but with the position of my waist, they worked really well.

Felt beautiful at 8 months pregnant
This was a wonderfully flattering maternity dress. I'm on my second pregnancy, so my 8 month belly was fairly massive, and it was still comfortable and flattering, highlighting the bump in a nice way. I agree with other reviewers that it did run large. I am a large normally and that's what I wore, but I was also very pregnant and had a lot of extra fabric bunched up under the belly. If you're not as pregnant, I would order a size down for your back-up size.

Glamorous even in a sea of glamour
Rented this for a fancy holiday party. Attire did range all up and down the board, but most people went for it. Never felt overshadowed in this gorgeous number. It was very flattering. I might have normally worn Spanx, but I was 12 weeks pregnant, so I just wore some control top pantyhose and honestly felt fine because the dark colors and sequins helped smooth things. It is form fitting but extremely supple and not tight, so it was surprisingly easy to dance in.

Flattering and comfortable
Ended up loving this dress so much that I rented it twice. Once was for a night out in Vegas, and then because that had been a girl's trip, rented it again to wear for a fancy anniversary dinner with my husband. It was very flattering and comfortable.

Beautiful dress, but warning for Pear shapes
I ended up renting this dress as a last minute replacement because my dress was damaged. Though I have to commend RtR's customer service for helping me find a dress that was available and getting it to me in time, I ended up disappointed in this experience. I am a pear shape, and though this dress was recommended for that shape, I did not find that to be the case. I rented the 6R and 8R. I liked how the 6 looked the best, but It was tight in the thighs/hips, so I was worried it was going to tear there if I made a wrong move. I ended up going with the 8, which was very loose up top (especially the waist), and I was horribly disappointed. Every picture that has come in made me look like I am wearing a potato sack. A glittery beautiful potato sack, but a potato sack none-the-less.

Managed to draw stares at a red carpet event!
This was my third time wearing a dress from Rent the Runway, and though they have all been great, this one was sublime. I was attending the Writers Guild Awards in LA, a red carpet event honoring entertainment writers (I write video games and our game was nominated.) Though most of the attendees were writers, there were also many celebrities, and so I wanted to try to look the part. I drew many stares with this gorgeous gown, received many compliments, and had many photos taken of me even though I was not "somebody" as far as that crowd was concerned. I felt so glamorous! Thank you, Rent the Runway!

Stunned every person who walked past!
I wore this dress out to dinner with my husband during our late Valentine's Day celebration. My husband was parking the car, so I was sitting and waiting at the front of the restaurant for him. This was a nice but not strictly fancy dress restaurant, so people were walking past and literally stopping in their tracks to compliment me. I was told "You look like a moviestar from a bygone era." It felt fantastic! The bustline is very complimentary for a small busted lady, and the color was great for a pale redhead. :)

Felt wonderful spinning on the dance floor in this dress!
I asked my husband if he had any requests in the fancy dress I rented, and his only ask was for something that would twirl when he spun me as we danced (we're enthusiastic dancers). This one certainly did. It was a lot of fun to dance in, and it made me feel very pretty and elegant. The compliments flowed. My fit ended up landing somewhere between the 8 and the 10 I rented, so I actually wore the two sizes back to back for our company holiday parties. I had to rate the dress a 4 is because the boning had begun to protrude in the top and poked into my skin on the 10. The 8 didn't have that problem, fortunately, and so I didn't have two nights of poked skin.
