The fit was perfect. The dress is made with internal lining to help keep everything tight and in place - think built in spanx. At 5'9, the long was exactly the right length with 3 inch heels.

The dress received a multitude of compliments, mainly because of the uniqueness of the cut. The cut is very severe, but that's what gives it the look. I stand 5'10 and the length was appropriate to talk to family in. Some minor negatives: Towards the end of the night, the neckline does become a little constricting, and the zipper tends to shift off center. But overall the dress was definitely a great find!
