The proportions on top were perhaps not designed for a booby girl. The waist fit perfectly but the top just kept pushing my boobs towards center, despite the shoulders being kind of loose? It was overall just a strange fit and I ended up adjusting myself all night. I think sizing up would’ve helped me have enough fabric to use fashion tape to keep everything in, but then the waist would’ve been too big and not offered any support.

I rented this top with the matching skirt. At first, I thought the skirt was just okay....but the top definitely makes it much better. The top is so flattering and also looks great with slacks or jeans. It's also just the right amount of cleavage, so it can be worn with a more conservative bra for work, or a push up bra for going out!

This dress has great fabric and the structure of the skirt feels expensive, while still being cool and comfortable. The color is also lovely for summer. All around, a nice, simple dress for office or every day that can be styled casually or dressed up a bit. With that being said, the sizing for Polo Ralph Lauren dresses has been a nightmare. I normally wear a size 16, but ordered that in another dress by this brand and it barely fit over my hips. So, I sized up to an XXL in this dress, and it's definitely too big. I belted it and made do, but I definitely could've sized down.... It's kind of difficult to make these choices without a detailed size chart for each garment, especially since there is so much variation in women's sizing...even within the same brand!

This pattern was *way* outside of my comfort zone, and I’m frankly shocked at how much I liked the dress. I probably could’ve sized down as the back is stretchy, and then it would’ve been perfectly fitted without a bra. But I added a padded push up bra and all was wonderful! The way that the “off the shoulder” portion is cut, and includes boning, is so flattering and hides armpit fat.

First of all, I love that this feels summery despite being a darker color palette! As someone who wears almost all black, this brought me into the summer in a way that felt in my comfort zone. This is one of the most comfortable gowns I’ve worn, as it is loose-fitting and flowy with no zipper. Doesn’t require a special type of bra or underwear. Just elastic and simple! I could’ve probably sized down as it was quite loose but it didn’t *look* too big, which is all that matters. My only complaint is that the waist tie wasn’t a real tie that went all the way around. Instead, it was just a sewed on bow in the front. I thought that cheapened the dress a bit….but that’s only if I’m getting nitpicky.

Definitely not for big-chested girlies. The dress itself is big/loose on me but the breast cups are so small that there’s no way I can wear the dress with or without a bra. Also, the fabric is paper thin so you’d need some sort of nude slip/bodysuit underneath.

The overall vibe of the dress is totally gorgeous, with the skirt being especially flowy and cute. However, the proportions were totally weird. I think perhaps the dress was a size too big on me, because I had to tie the top and back straps impossibly tight in order for the dress to stay in place, and I still had to wear a jacket over it to ensure I wasn’t falling out. HOWEVER, the dress also comes with a built-in body suit that was way too high/small. Like my torso would’ve had to been 6 inches shorter in order for this body suit to fit. When I had the bodysuit portion on, the breast cup area was down by my belly button. When I left the bodysuit unhooked so I could wear the breast cup portions in the proper place, the gusset area sat around my rib cage. In short, the proportions are kind of weird and the dress was simultaneously too big and too small. However, with some intentional tying and a jacket, it worked out perfectly for the event.

I loved that I could slip this dress on over my head (it’s stretchy and elastic - no zipper!) and go. No special bra or underwear or fashion tape was required. It even has a hook and eyelet if you want to make the top less revealing. Perfect length - even for us short girlies (I’m 5’4) and the perfect level of formal for a spring “black tie optional” gala.

Let me say that this dress is so unique compared to the types of styles I usually wear. I'm glad I took the risk! It was so comfortable for a black tie gala, through dinner, drinking, dancing, everything! What's best, I could wear a regular bra and undies - no body shaper necessary - because of the dress' flowy fit and thick, flattering fabric. The COLOR was really the show stopping element. Pictures don't do it justice - it's really the perfect blue (especially if you have blue eyes like I do) and I got compliments all night. My only complaint is that it was a bit too big (I should've sized down to the large), especially in the waist. I was able to use some safety pins to "tack" it in temporarily to make sure to show off my figure, though, and nobody could tell!

I've tried on short Selkie dresses before and loved them, so I was excited to get this piece for a black-tie gala. The dress was well-constructed and the fabric was gorgeous...but unfortunately it wasn't really wearable for me. First of all, the size was shockingly too big (I'm a size 14 and chose a 1x per my measurements, and I probably could've sized down a whole size...which is strange because other Selkie dresses have fit me perfectly). Even in the right size, however, the dress would have overwhelmed my body type. As a short, curvy person, it was giving "stumpy cupcake," even with very high heels.
