I am SO glad I decided to go with RTR for this glam number. I received so many compliments. No one at the wedding had a dress like this. The color was stunning in person and went really nicely with my hair color. This dress has a nice stretch to it. I expected it to chafe my underarms, but it didn’t. It felt very comfortable to dance in. I was happy that I was able to wear a strapless bra and suggest using some double-stick tape to make sure the bar doesn’t show. Because I’m so short, the hem hit me below the knee, but it worked to cover my Spanx shorts! I ordered the dress about 6 weeks before the event, which gave me a good amount of time to really work on my arm, shoulder, and upper back strength; these are all areas really accentuated by this dress. The Spanx took care of the rest! I was a little disappointed that the stitching that attached one of the “wings” to the back of the dress was torn, but it was easily fixed with a black safety pin. Aside from that, I did feel like I had to be extra careful to not snag the dress or sequins through the night.
