This was my second time renting this dress for date nights. The first time I rented it in January, it was true to size and fit absolutely perfectly. This is why I rented it again. The second time, the fabric was stretched and fit MUCH larger, but was still acceptable in a pinch. The sleeves and length were both stretched out, which would be an issue if you are shorter or have shorter arms. I have a very long torso and it hit at the knee when it wasn't bunching up, and the sleeves were very long even for my super long arms! Both times I rented size Small. Fabric is thick and stretchy, perfect weight for chilly or downright cold weather. The bare shoulders add edge to an otherwise conservative sweater style dress. Definitely size DOWN, mainly due to the fact that it appears that their size Smalls are overused and the fabric is becoming stretched out and misshapen.

I rented this dress for my best friend’s wedding. Beautiful shade of navy blue. The lace was in good shape; however, the three hook-and-eyelets on the top of the dress were all loose and needed to be tacked down. The middle hook did not like to stay hooked either (see right image). I ordered the size 4 with a backup size 2. I’d have preferred to wear the 2, as every part of the size 4 was a little too large and the stomach sagged out a little, but the shoulders were extremely tight (unwearable in size 2, and very snug in size 4). A strapless bra was necessary due to the large body of the dress, so I wore one with a low back converter. It worked fairly well with half a dozen adjustments over the course of the 3-hour wedding (again, see right image). The keyhole back was stunning, but I would not recommend this dress to anyone with wide or large shoulders, as the neckline/shoulders seem to run extremely small compared to the rest of the dress. The hem hit right at the knee. Overall, the dress worked since there was no dancing, I wore a coat most of the time, and I never needed to raise my arms.

The fit on this romper was completely unflattering and un-wearable. I usually wear a size 4, which is a little large in some styles. I have a long torso, but not unreasonably so, and read other reviews where it was stated that having a long torso did not make a significant difference. This was completely untrue for me, as this romper was inappropriately short (cheeks hanging out the back and camel toe in the front). Even with the extreme shortness of the bottom half, the top half was still loose and baggy on the sides and back. I was planning on wearing this for an out of town event, and had no address to which a replacement could be sent. I'm unsure of RTR's solution for outfits that absolutely do not work for certain body types. I made do with what I had in the closet. Definitely will not be renting anything like this style in the future.

I rented this necklace to add some sparkle to an otherwise plain holiday office party outfit. The clear crystals are beautiful and make this look more expensive than had they been "diamond"-style crystals. This necklace was not heavy and wore easily for several hours. The only issue I ran into was the crystals on the chain refused to lay flat and required nearly constant adjustment. Overall a beautiful necklace!

I originally reserved this dress in a 4, but the 6 fit like a glove. The sleeves and bust are very fitted if you have broader shoulders or muscular arms; I would recommend a size up if you have an athletic build. The color was much brighter than in the photo online and beautiful. Like other Nicole Millers I've rented, the lace was extremely flattering in cut and fit, with a little stretch to it. Lace was in good shape with a few stray strings here and there on hemlines. Definitely a little more busty than in the photograph online as well. Overall a pretty, sexy dress.

I rented this dress for my anniversary dinner date at a local French Bistro. Perfect dress for the weather and the occasion. The small fit comfortably (plenty of wiggle room in the waist without any sagging or bagging). My worries about the length were unfounded, as the dress is not as short as pictured on the model. Sleeve length was also perfect. The heavy material and long sleeves make it perfect for chilly weather. The sequins were a nice touch of glitz without being too flashy. Overall, a nice change-up on the standard, plain LBD!

I wore this dress for a formal dinner over the holidays. The size 4 fit perfectly throughout the body and the hemline hit just below mid-thigh. The heavy fabric and satiny side panels are very flattering! As in other reviews, the arm holes are a little larger than they appear on the model; hence, I couldn't wear a bra and had to be conscious of my movements to avoid exposing too much side-boob. I wouldn't recommend this dress for dancing or moving around excessively, but it was perfect for a sit-down dinner and drinks. To dress it down a little, I wore black nylons and black suede booties.

Received lots of compliments and admiring looks throughout the night. I rented the size 40, with size 44 as a backup, for a wedding and as other reviews have stated, it definitely runs small. I ended up wearing the size 44 due to the chest being extremely tight in the 40. The body of the 40 fit perfectly, but the 44 was also wearable because of the thickness and stretch of the fabric (very thick satin). The little bit of extra room through the body of the size 44 made the fabric bunch up at the waist when walking or moving around, so there was a lot of adjusting. The bra part of the top was a little tricky at first because it didn't line up with my chest, but I wore an unlined underwire strapless bra underneath that held it in place. Great length, right to the knee as pictured. Overall the 44 worked, but it would be excellent if they had a size 42!

This dress was my first rental from RTR and I'm hooked! I rented this for a black tie wedding in New York, and received many compliments throughout the night. The size 4L fit like a glove, no need for any backups. Hugs your curves in all the right places, and photos do not do the lace justice. I wore it with flats and the hem just brushed the ground. If you want the full length, definitely go for flats if you're taller than 5'9". A beautiful dress and a great first experience with RTR!
