I don't wear jewelry very often and I was worried this necklace would be too big but it turned out to go perfectly with my dress which was strapless with a sweetheart neckline. I'm petite on top so I needed to make it a little shorter- I just put the clasp through the second link of the necklace and it was perfect. The necklace was good quality, and didn't look cheap at all. My only complaint is that when it arrived it smelled like someone had soaked it in a vat of perfume. It was so strong it made my husband's eyes water. There is a black piece of fabric woven through the chain and I think that had absorbed the last wearer's perfume. I set it out on the back porch overnight and the smell was mostly gone by the time of the event so it wasn't much of an issue. This is my third time renting from Rent The Runway and I've had a great experience every time. All my orders have always arrived on time and the customer service has been so helpful when I've needed them. Thank you RTR!

This necklace is really beautiful in the picture and in person. It was good quality and didn't look chintzy at all, the way costume jewelery sometimes can. I didn't end up wearing it because I decided to go with more of a statement necklace but if you're looking for understated elegance this is your necklace.
