Sexy, easy to wear
Super flattering and easy to wear. The ties make it super easy to do/undo, and the cutout is flattering. If your chest is heavier, this will show a fair bit of cleavage (as it did on me)

Elegant and wearable, but not basic
The color and the shape of this dress make it quite wearable, but the slight puff in the sleeve and the elegant seaming make it fashion-forward. The thin cotton is also incredibly comfortable and lightweight. I wore it to a fashion work event and got a ton of compliments, including from colleagues who told me to just buy it. (I didn't, the price!) The picture shows it worn off the shoulder, but I wore mine up - it sat better that way, and I think it looked better. It's also very figure flattering, despite being fitted in the middle - I'm an apple shape, and this still managed to emphasize a curve or two in a way I liked. Overall, I'd highly recommend this dress. It's super versatile, and wearable without being at all basic or ordinary.

Total showstopper, got tons of compliments
I was unsure about this lime-green gathered dress - it's a lot of look. That said, I wore it for a fashion work event and got about 8 million compliments, including from several coworkers who told me I should just buy it. It's very fashion-forward, but the simple color and crisp cotton mean you could get away with wearing it around town for brunch (although the ruffles are voluminous, and would attract attention). It's easy to style, with either white sneakers or sandals. Overall a very cute dress that I would absolutely consider for another event where I want to impress folks who know good style.

Bridal shower showstopper
I rented this for a bridal shower (not my own, someone else's) and it was a total showstopper. The lace is well constructed, the zipper actually works (woohoo!) and the fit around the sleeves and waist is both forgiving and adorable. The only challenge was finding the right thing to pair it with - you could do jeans, I ended up going with a very neutral black knee-length skirt. I got a lot of compliments. My only observation is that it's probably more of a fall/spring top than a summer one - the material is somewhat thick and not super breathable (thanks to the thick lace)

Beautiful dress, tough zipper and thick material
This is a gorgeous dress but I rented it in the wrong season. I got it in summer, and the long sleeves and very thick stretchy synthetic make it more appropriate for winter. The fall around the waist is not ideal - I wish this had more of an A line, whereas it kinda just fell flat around my hips in a way that wasn't very flattering. The zipper was a TRIAL. The material is thick and embroidered, and the zipper kept catching at the point where the bodice met the skirt. I had to turn the dress around while wearing it in order to zip it, which is honestly never fun.

Great blazer, runs roomy but still sleek
I loved this blazer! It's a deep, true lipstick red color - fantastic for work. It hit at about hip on me - I'm short - and the 8 was the right size even though I'm normally a 10. I considered keeping it - this is the type of piece you can easily grab to dress up just about any outfit, or to keep warm in an air conditioned summer office. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous dress, great for apple shapes
I normally avoid this fitted silhouette because I'm an apple shape and petite, but this one worked for me! I went a size up because it was fitted in the waist. The chest was a bit big but the straps being adjustable was fantastic bc I've got a short waist. The fabric at the side is a really fun detail. The overall look was quite fitted and sexy, and the high waist made it figure flattering. The beetle print also makes the dress unique.

One of my favorite rentals of all time
This dress is bright, beautiful cotton. I very seriously thought about buying it, even at the $200 price tag. Absolutely stunning dress. It's a great length, and the fact that it's gathered a little bit above the true waist meant that it sat very well on my petite, short-waisted, apple frame :) The cut is really super flattering, and the print made me happy all day. Highly recommend!

Cute but super thin and very short
This is very much a summertime skirt: it's extremely thin, barely this side of transparent. The print is lovely, BUT I didn't end up wearing it, not least bc it's incredibly short - I'm 5'2", and there's no way I would have been able to bend over in this skirt.

Absolutely spectacular dress, runs a bit large up top
This dress was amazing! As an apple shape, I really don't fit this sort of fitted style very well. The dress is great for a lot of figures, because it was a somewhat stretchy but still structured feel to it. The waist falls at a great point, and the print is breathtaking. I wore it under a jean jacket and with sneakers to dress it down enough for a regular night out. Note: even with the straps tightened, the cups were much too large for me, but that's a typical problem I face (larger in the waist, smaller up top). For that reason, I probably wouldn't have worn it on its own. It's also a titch awkwardly long on a petite person, but still totally wearable.

Really cute dress, very unusual
This is a really cute and original dress, and I highly recommend it. I loved wearing it. It was comfortable, and the midi length worked fine for me despite the fact that I'm short. I got compliments on it, which as we know always feel great :) I sized down a bit (normally a large) based on reviews and that was perfect. The waist and hips are more generously sized than the top.

A stunning unique dress
This dress was just gorgeous. I loved the color and fit. Short ladies need not worry about length - even in flats, this was an inch above the floor for me. The fit is surprisingly flattering: narrower in the hips than the pic leads you to believe, but with a generous waist and top. The buttons might be an issue for folks with large cup sizes. The bottom buttons did gap a bit, even when the dress fit fine, so bring along safety pins or fashion tape to help with that.

Great, classic, bit of fun
This dress fit true to size and had a flattering fit thanks to the leather panel. It was a nice thick material and super comfortable to wear, while looking chic. It's great for work events, because it's a basic black shift but with some edge. A great alternative to a sheath dress if sheath dresses don't suit your figure.

A beautiful dress, a bit of a weird and blousy fit
This was a great dress in bright colors, and the waist wrap allows you to give it some shape. Size down! The elastic waist has a ton of room, the chest runs quite large, and the skirt leaves room for hips.

This was a stunning dress! It's a lovely and very full tiered skirt, so it's not transparent. It's a bit low cut and the top was a little blousy and low cut on me. Thanks to the design it has tons of stretch in the waist so if you're smaller up top then consider going down a size. I'm short and it was a perfect length even with flats. Wore it on vacation and then to a show. The color makes it look like the top is green but it's actually a lovely faded yellow that blends far better with the orange and pink.

Very cute dress
The print on this dress is LOVELY - the colors (black, white, cream, pale pink) work wonderfully together. The fit is also nicer than I expected. It was definitely a little bit snug for me in the waist, but I'm a little thick in the waist so that often happens. I'd definitely recommend it. The only thing is the material is a little bit thin, so it's either a spring/summer dress (although the colors aren't very summery) or you'll want to put it over tights/boots.

Wow! Definitely a summer dress bc the material is thin and it's sleeveless. This dress is extremely fashionable but still accessible. It has pockets! I got compliments, and felt super comfortable. I think these would have been amazing pants but, to be honest, the size ran super large. I've worn DVF dresses in size 10 before that were a tight fit around the waist and hips. These pants, in a 10R, were HUGE, and so the overall effect was a bit mom jeans. Beautiful pattern and colors, would consider renting again, but recommend that you go a size down. Also, very high waisted. I've got a short torso and these came up to my ribcage.

Wow! This dress attracts attention
This dress is quite a look. I got several compliments, but mainly from my colleagues who have an edgy vibe. The oversize fit - it ran a little large on me, but is also meant to be oversized - is super flattering, while the colors are fun. I rented it in the middle of summer and that was a mistake. The fabric is SUPER heavy, and it's really more of a fall or winter dress. It would be great over tights and with boots for the winter. Also, it is COMFORTABLE. It's like wearing a blanket. That fact alone made me want to wear it over and over. Honestly, I didn't think I'd like this as much as I did, and if it weren't so expensive, I'd have considered adding it to my permanent collection.

Really pretty, stretchy and forgiving silhouette
This dress is very pretty! I rented it in part because I've read great reviews of the designer, and rented one of their items before and really liked it. What a pretty dress! Tons of compliments. A little long in the torso and large in the bust on me, who is smaller in both of those areas than expected for my overall size. Wore it to work and a party. The wide neck makes it feel a little more like a party dress than a work dress, but it was fine. The skirt is quite poufy - it's a good thing, it's what gives this dress character - and the extremely stretchy fabric would probably flatter a variety of figures.

Amazing skirt! Love it!
The dark color and modest length made this appropriate for my casual office. The tiers were fun and ruffly, the skirt was well-made, and the colors were sober but still unique. I loved it. Because there's some elastic in the waist, this runs a little on the larger side - especially if you have a small waist, you might want to consider sizing down. I'm slimmer in the hip than the waist, and the 8 was still a VERY comfortable fit for me. I'd definitely rent again. A rare Marchesa Notte piece in that it has the lovely styling the label is not for but isn't too fancy for the office.

Beautiful, but very tight in the chest
I loved the elegant pale blue color. The cut and tailoring are wonderful - the material is a heavy cotton sateen, with a ton of stretch and a satisfying heft. I loved the feel of it. The only warning is that it's a button down and it's INCREDIBLY tight in the chest. I'm somewhere between a 34B and a 36B, and the size 10 from just about every brand is large in the chest by a bit. But this one was extremely tight! The front of it was gaping. I ended up wearing it but putting safety pins in between each of the top buttons. The contrast between the tight fit in the torso and the more A-line skirt creates a very flattering silhouette, but if you're larger than B cup, don't bother!

I loved this top even more than I thought I would. The fit is oversize but it also runs large, so keep that in mind when ordering. It is a bold look - between the unexpected cape-balloon silhouette and the Jack-O-Lantern colors, you have to be willing to own this if you're going to pull it off. I wore it and got compliments from people on it, and I loved the way it looked with leggings and statement heels. Work it to work, although obviously not for the more conservative workplace.

This was an unexpected winner. I wasn't sure about it when it first arrived because the material is very slippery - put me in mind of a shower curtain. The sizing was true to size and the 10 was actually just a little bit loose on me. Be warned that the uneven hem comes down quite far, and if you're short like I am, the ends will almost the touch the floor, especially if you're wearing flats. But it was beautiful! Got tons of compliments.

Unexpected showstopper!
This dress is fantastic! Super flattering for work; the photos don't do it justice. It's very professional, but also at the same time super fun. The low back is sexy but in a way that wouldn't violate norms in even the most conservative office. The shape is a true shift: a little wider than the body, and straight down. It fit me perfectly, but prob would have done the same for different body types too. With heels and some red tasseled earrings, I felt amazing in this outfit! Highly recommended. Got several compliments on the pretty color and pattern.

Stunner! Absolutely a winning dress
The elastic waist makes for a flattering fit on a variety of figures. The buttons in the chest might gap on someone larger than a B cup, and as I'm short, the dress kinda hiked up a bit oddly. But it's beautiful! The color is bright, the material light and usable, and the asymmetric hem is super fun and trendy. It's fine for a more casual, trendy office or for a party. Highly recommend!

This is a gorgeous dress - the fabric, weight and cut of the skirt are spectacular. As a short person I struggle with garments this length, but this one was amazing! The top of the dress is another story. It's super cute, but as others have said, this dress runs super large in the top. It definitely had extra room on me. I wore it over a white button down and pinned the dress' straps to my shirt so they'd stay put (it was too big otherwise, and I was wearing it to work so didn't want it to be too revealing). I loved the way it felt, but wouldn't buy it bc of the sizing issues. The waist fit me perfectly, but I have a slightly larger waist compared to the rest of my body, so others will likely find it large in the waist as well.

Fantastic jacket. As others have said, it runs both short and a little on the tighter side. I loved the tighter fit - it made it feel more like a blazer and appropriate for work. If you want to get this as a proper coat though and button it, then size up. I'm short and the cropped length still went below my waist. If you're taller then be aware it'll be probably be quite cropped on you. One of my fave rentals - great fabric, great design. Got tons of compliments. I'd buy it but it's too $$. Based on the price and the condition it's in, I think I'm one of the first people to wear the particular piece that I got. So awesome!
