Classy dress for winter event
This was a really great dress for a event I attended in NYC. The dress runs small, tho. It's kind of hard to pull on over your head if you're a bit tall and more broad than some. I'm 5'9 and 160 lbs and thin but broad shoulders. No way a medium would work for me even though I wear medium tops and larges are too big. My waist is a 29 but I have some hips! Anyway, it looked great and was comfy. I'm now a fan of Shoshana!

I wore this for a New Year's Eve party. It was really cute and I got lots of compliments!
I felt a little tight around the middle and bust, and I'm kind of small busted. I do have a broader back, but it's probably the fact that I'm almost 5'10 and not a stick. I'm still pretty average to thin, though. The straps didn't keep falling off my shoulders or anything. Just the overlay would hike up a bit and the satin lining would show at the hem of the dress, but not too big a deal. I tried what the sales girl suggested and rubbed hairspray on my hand and then on the underside of the dress, but that didn't do anything. Glad I chose this dress overall!
