A great LBD!
I don’t know why I expected this to be a light summery feel fabric but this is a great fall/winter outfit, or a LBD for when you need something dark in the spring or summer like for a funeral. Wouldn’t want to be outside in it in heat for more than a few minutes. High quality. I saw where someone styled it with a turtleneck and tights and think that was adorable. It’s a 5 star for me. Size down. The 6 is a bit big on me. I would’ve gotten a 4 based on other reviewers, it just wasn’t available. I’ll try it in a 4 next time.

Very cute details
On the surface looks like a plain black top but the details take the cake - scalloped edges, beautiful buttons, burnout looking fabric. The fabric doesn’t need a tank under it, thank goodness. Lightweight for hot weather. Great with jeans or with the shorts from the set.

Love a pair of lightweight shorts that are still full coverage where I don’t have to worry about things showing through the fabric. Love them with the matching top or without. Great length for adults

TTS for LP. I’m typically a 6 in this brand. The material surprised me - it’s almost scuba feeling but I think it will be great to not show sweat through which is key for a summer outfit in the Deep South. The back does gape just thr tiniest bit at my neck but it’s more so because my chest is small. This passes the test for fingertip length AND it has shorts built in so I would feel comfortable wearing this to teach at school and for wearing somewhere my kids. I think you could really dress it up with heeled sandals and a nice bag for evening since it has the pearls on the collar. Or leave it casual for day. So tempted to buy it but I think I’ll at least keep it for the summer! Rent it!

Cute! Versatile! Lilly P still owns summer
I rented this last time in an 8 and it was just a bit too roomy. Just tried this one on and it’s a perfect TTS fit. Plan to wear Memorial Day over my suit while on the boardwalk since it’s got sun protection. Last time I wore the 8, it was a day of running errands and at least one person in every store I went into complimented it!

Tall girls know it’s a little short
The lowest button was about 2 inches below my crotch. I’m in a medium and had tons of extra fabric around the back after I pulled the sash tight. Probably could’ve gotten away with a small. I have it tied differently and on the opposite side than styled because it made me look very bulky on the side it’s supposed to go on. Would be fun for summer fun - dress up for a nicer occasion, dress down for a Fourth of July bbq. Lightweight and slightly stretchy fabric. 4/5 for me

Very casual vibes - I wore to a family backyard gathering and work at school. Love the adjustable ties, that’s why I gave it 4 stars instead of a more average 3. Not a 5 star rental to me though. 100% cotton great for summer

Great fit & quality
This dress is a winner. I don’t love that the lining is polyester though. The armholes are a little low for it to be work appropriate for me without a sweater or blazer. I’m short waisted but luckily the bodice and skirt meet right at the top of my hips. Would go out with a little less flare at the skirt on someone with a regular or long torso

Obviously meant to be worn as a set for vacay vibes, but the shorts were so much shorter than I anticipated. Couldn’t have had more than 2 inches from end of cheek to the bottom of the shorts. Even a small hinge from the waist would expose your bottom so beware!

I suppose my true size technically fit, but the bottom ballooned out so wide it was very unflattering on my hips, and the top was very short to me, and I’m short waisted. Definitely look through reviews and find someone with a similar body type to compare

Spring guest perfection
The waist is true to size. I’m a size 6, 27-28 inch waist normally and this had zero give on my ribcage. I’m small chested and not sure how it would work for you if bigger than a C cup. Two things to note: 1) hard to raise your arms in 2) runs short so you don’t need to be raising your arms anyway. Wore to a bridemaids luncheon and would be great for similar events. Showers, luncheons, where you are sitting and standing but not dancing. Styled with raffia purse and raffia detail wedges

Don’t wear if you want to lift your arms
I read the reviews and ordered my true size and one size up. The true size fit me well, but I did experience the issue with not being able to lift my arms up. The construction of the dress just doesn’t let you. I was hosting a shower and just changed into it after everything was set up. Good for a shower/tea, somewhere you won’t be active but I wouldn’t recommend it for a wedding if you plan on dancing. Made me look a little bulkier than I actually am so keep that in mind but overall very pretty and got a lot of compliments on it

Loved this - got as a backup for TS Eras tour but lent to my friend to wear out instead. The construction of it is really unique. Only reason I didn’t wear is because I couldn’t lift my arms overhead at all bc when I did the gusset stopped at my crotch and kept my from lifting my arms any higher. For this reason if you’re tall or have a long torso I suggest sizing up. I might’ve been able to lift my arms all the way up in an 8 or 10 even though the 6 fit me everywhere else. Also, if you plan on securing the top just know you’ll have to untie it, unbutton it, and unzip bottom part to use the restroom so whatever you used to secure the top you’ll have to redo. If I find another reason to wear this again I’ll try it in a bigger size!

Wore to Taylor Swift Eras tour for a Midnights vibe. Got tons of compliments on it and didn’t see anyone else at my show with it on, whereas the other sequin romper I was going to wear I saw 2 people wearing. Read reviews and went one size up from my usual to an 8 and it fit well. My chest is relatively small for my height so I needed to secure the top but that’s normal for me in tops like this. I ordered the 6 and it was the same way so just know unless you’ve got the chest to fill it out you’ll have to have fashion tape or a safety pin on hand. The stars are really shiny & fun. The sleeves are more billowy than they look online (a good thing to contrast how fitted the dress is).

The elastics of the arms were tight on me while the actual neckline was loose - just not a great fit. This would be great as a maternity dress for a smaller chested person. Skirt has pockets and is very long. Wound up not wearing. Tagged fit as just right bc it was a true medium waist

Fit is great since the top is adjustable. A true medium meaning the top was a bit large on me since I’m a small/medium in tops and medium on bottoms, but the adjustable straps are great in a maxi. Easy to dress up or down, thicker fabric, tiered style doesn’t make hips look larger even for more bottom heavy people. Only complaint is that every little bra line / strap showed bc the top was more form fitting. If you are very large chested or wide shoulders, I’d go regular size even though a lot of reviews say to size down. Usually a medium and the small was good for me. I’d rent this brand close to this style again but maybe not this particular dress. Not as pink as I thought it would be

Runs big for a medium. I’m a true size 6-8 in dresses and this had several extra inches in the waist on me. I think I could have worn a small, but since I was going to be sitting, up and down steps with my toddler, and walking a little bit in it I wanted to be comfy. It was long enough for me even though I’m 5’8. Easy to dress up or down. Con: wrinkles easily (pic on left is end of morning, pic on right is after I’d been sitting a while), but I didn’t really iron or steam it before bc it was a casual day. I paired with eyelet lace sneakers. Wore a white Amazon longline sports bra underneath just for comfort and it didn’t really show through.

Top too loose for a size small dress
The top was too loose and the bottom too tight for me to wear. I typically wouldn't try a small size dress but I think this would work for someone with wider shoulders than hips. The top was too loose on me and the bottom fit but looked too tight on my hips for how loose the dress was. I loved the feel of the cotton/linen fabric though

Adjustable straps and pockets. A very appropriate feeling length. I was worried the fabric would be too see through but with skin tone underwear it was fine. I saw the Club Monaco website has it in black and I'm thinking about buying it bc it was so comfortable. I tried with brighter colored accessories but it looked a little off bc this is more of an ivory than a white so stuck with neutrals.
