Wore this for a 1950s themed formal affair and felt like Marilyn Monroe!

This dress style is a classic hourglass and made me feel like a million bucks. It was perfect for a 1950s theme, but so classically beautiful it works for any formal occasion. The small "train" really punches up the formality of the dress. I fall between regular and long length styles for rental at 5'7" and I was able to wear a 3" heel with the regular length dress. My bust size is rather large, so if you're small chested, you won't have a problem keeping the dress up because of how well it fits through the waist, but it will probably gap quite a bit at the bust. I normally wear a size 12 dress, but the 14 was comfortable enough to wear although I probably could have fit into a 12 as well. The 14 was my only option and it was roomy in across my tummy which is usually a problem area for me. I would own this dress if I could afford it!

Flattering dress but runs large.

This is very flattering because of all of the ruching in the bodice and skirt of the dress. At 5'7", I fall between regular length and long dresses, so if you're there this dress will need flats for regular length and sky-high heels or platforms for long length. This dress was WAY too big in the bust, so I couldn't wear it. I got the size down for a back up and it was still too large. I was afraid I would reveal the girls all night, so I passed on this dress. It's still very beautiful and VERY flattering style.

Stunning fit and color make this a standout!

The fit of the dress was fantastic and I probably could have worn a 12, but it was a back up size and I only had the 14. I was able to wear a normal bra, which makes me more comfortable, and along with some Spanx, it was smooth and form-fitting. I would think about renting again except for the number the sequins did to the inside of my upper arm where they rubbed while dancing. Too painful for an event where you'll be moving your arms very much. I'm just above the cutoff for normal length (5'6"/5'7"), so this dress was too short for the heels I preferred to wear, but too long for flats. It worked with a 1.5" heel.
