The color and fabric of this dress is absolutely beautiful and luxurious. I rented a 4 and a 6 based on the reviews but the 4 was too loose. If my backup dress hadn't fit, I definitely could have made due with the 4 (the length was perfect, too), but I would have preferred the dress to be a bit more fitted to be comfortable. If you are pretty straight up and down and small on top, size down.

I usually wear a 4 in dresses and a 6 in pants. This dress in a 6 fit like a glove in my hips, waist, and butt. The top was a bit big, but the way it clasps at the top made it fit nicely. If I owned this dress I'd have the top and the back tailored to be a bit more fitted on top, esp since you can't wear a regular bra with this dress. It was really comfortable and elegant. I wore this to a black tie wedding and it was understated but pretty. The back is dramatic and sexy which I loved. I am 5'9'' and don't typically wear heels; I wore flats with this and the length was perfect. The navy is beautiful and different. Definitely recommend!
