The color of this dress was a beautiful, rich red-orange. The problem I had with it was the hips - normally 6s fit me fine, but this would not go over my thighs. I wore the 8, which fit okay across the hips, although it pulled funny in front, and the top was a little loose. All in all, it was perfectly fine for going to dinner, but I am glad I wasn't going to a wedding where I would have to dance. It also rode up pretty high when I was sitting (which was fine because I am short, but might be a problem if you have long legs). That said, my husband kept telling me how great I looked, and I got several compliments on the dress from strangers, so I don't think anyone but me noticed the problems with the fit.

The dress fit true to size, although it was a little tight across the top and the arms - I couldn't raise my arms above shoulder level (not that I ever had to). The 8 would have been a little looser on the waist, but it was too big on my shoulders, so I wore the 6 and it was fine (i only noticed the tightness around my waist, the bust felt fine). I am short and curvy, and this dress highlighted my curves really well. It hit just above the knee, and the skirt had a nice movement to it. The color was lovely, more fuchsia and less plum than on the website. I would definitely rent this dress again!

This was my first RTR experience, and it was a success! The dress fit almost perfectly - it was a tiny bit big on top, due to my large bust and small shoulders, but nothing a little double-sided tape couldn't fix (which came included). The boning did poke out a tiny bit (on the inside), but I was able to cover it with a band-aid, and it was fine for the rest of the night (RTR assures me that they will fix it). It was a very warm day, but I stayed comfortable in this dress, even in the sun. It was a tiny bit short when I sat down, which was okay on me because I am short, but might be something to watch out for if you are taller. I received compliments on the dress all night! Overall, this was a great experience, and I will definitely rent again.
